Just finished my last long run, I managed another 23 miles which I am over the moon about. However its definitely time now to take a step back, taper and reduce those miles. My children are off school as from Friday for almost three weeks of the three and a half weeks left until the big day so i can't do more super long runs even if I wanted 😏.... Instead I shall enjoy having my girls around for the holidays, eating chocolate, putting my feet up and the novelty of how 'short' a 'normal long run' feels like. http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/MichelleWhitwam

This morning I ran the most fun run I've had in ages!! There was torrential rain, wind that took my breath away, hail and more rain (and now sun, now that I have stopped!!)... but I loved it!!! Just me, my music, my mucky pup and the elements!! I had released my inner child and I ran breaking into the biggest smiles on occasion, probably looking like a lunatic as I ran purposely through puddles and feeling on top of the world. Today felt like a short run at 10 miles and I only stopped as I'm saving myself for milton Keynes 20 mile race on Sunday!! I can't wait now and feeling so positive.

20 mile training run complete!!! Just 6.2 very hard miles to work on now!

Happy new year!! Not long to go now until the Headway East Northants Charity event which will be taking place at Dodmoor house on the 1st of February! I would like to give a big thank you to to Dodmoor house itself for letting me host the event at their beautiful location. Also I would like to say thank you to the wonderful 'SoulMoFunk' and 'Bos marketing' in giving up there time to support me and the charity!! You are amazing! Also a big thank you to Windsor windows for their generous donation! I am truly grateful to you all!

Carol singing at Abington Park at lunchtime today at the Abington park cafe with some great friends!! I may be miming as my throat is rebelling on me but here's to trying! (fingers crossed the rain holds off!!)

Selling all this and more at Hardingstone Christmas fete this afternoon to help me raise money for Headway East Northants! Lots of stocking fillers and sweet treats to buy! Please come along to my stall to help support this wonderful cause!
