🏆 1st place of the day overall yesterday! I achieved 2nd place in all three races, in what was a challenging weekend overall.

🐢 My engine was down on power all weekend so I had to drive so hard to get those results, but I didn't quite have the oomph needed to get the wins this time.

🤠 We now have a five week break, so plenty of time to get everything sorted out before we are back at Brands Hatch for the American Speedfest 🤠

💪 Thanks as always to my team for being awesome and to Craig for everything you do!

Heat 1 - 12.25

Yesterday was a bit up and down, in the first heat I went off the front row and pushed away with .needham.13 but the chasing pack joined us a few laps in, there was lots of swapping places and I crossed the line 2nd.

I got caught up on a first lap incident in the second heat which put me dead last. I managed to claim a few places back, aided by a safety car, but unfortunately only got one lap of racing after the safety car went in and I ended up 8th.

In the final the rain came down ☔️ and my engine gremlin reappeared giving me a loss of power. Thankfully the wet conditions mitigated some of the disadvantage but despite getting overtakes made in the corner, I couldn't keep the place on the straights. I stayed up with the top pack and crossed the line 6th.

what a perfect day at Donington Park!!!

🏎 Both wins were from the back of the grid!

👪 We saw so many fans and I'm really sorry if you didn't get a sticker, we gave away 2500 stickers over 2 days, twice the number we expected! We will re-stock ready for Brands Hatch and we will also have some "No.1" merchandise available in our new online shop being launched shortly......watch this space 😀
