Stop comparing your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 20.
Scrolling through social media makes it easy to think everyone else is smashing it.
But you’re not seeing their full story. You don’t see the years of training, the setbacks, the restarts, or the days they nearly quit.
Your progress only needs to match your life. Not theirs.
Focus on your lane. Show up for your chapter. That’s where the real wins happen.

Saturday I did a thing 👀… I took part in the Blakely APEX Hyrox event at the Showground.
Now, if you’d told me at the start of the year I’d be doing Hyrox, I’d probably have told you to f*!k off!
But the opportunity came up, I said yes, and honestly… I loved it.
It was brutal, harder than I expected, but so much easier with the team around me. And it reminded me of one of the biggest tactics I’ve always leaned on in fitness:
👉 Give yourself something fun (and slightly terrifying) to train for.
Yes, it could go wrong. But it could also surprise you..and suddenly you’re hitting goals you never thought possible.

1️⃣ Pick ONE win for the week — movement, meal, or mindset
2️⃣ Schedule it like a meeting
3️⃣ Track your wins (small progress motivates)
4️⃣ Reframe thoughts: “I’ll start next week” → “I can start now”
5️⃣ Celebrate actions, not just outcomes
