Campsite Assistant Manager Role – Seasonal Position with a possibility of a permanent role
We are looking for an assistant manager to help with the smooth running of the campsite throughout the summer.
The role will include:
• Managing bookings via our online booking system and Pitchup
• Dealing with enquiries via phone and email
• Checking in/out guests
• Carrying out minor maintenance work on the campsite
• Checking pitches between guests
• Cleaning of communal areas when required
• Selling items from our small shop and ordering stock
• Some bar/café work
The ideal candidate would be someone who:
• Enjoys working and taking on new challenges
• Works well as part of a team but is also happy to work independently
• Gets on well with others and enjoys talking to people
• Is not afraid to use their initiative but knows when to ask for help
• Enjoys being outdoors whatever the weather
• Has a full driving licence (to be able to drive our gator vehicle around the campsite)
• Is over 18 years (to be able to serve behind the bar)
The days of work will mainly be Friday afternoons/weekends and bank holidays. With the possibility of additional hours during the week in school holidays.
Rate of pay dependent on age and experience. Uniform provided. Company pension scheme for eligible employees
