UEFA B Diploma tutor delivery 👨‍🎓⚽️

Enjoyable couple of days delivering Module 1 of the UEFA B Diploma based course for the FA. Good to work with fellow coach developers Danny, Ian & Matt and have the chance to support 28 aspiring coaches on their journeys.

Busy night of ⚽️

1️⃣ First up observation of U8 session as part of my programme of individual coach support with the club. Currently working with x4 different coaches supporting their personal development.

2️⃣ U18 game - Final game of season, been enjoyable getting on the grass coaching this group for the past few months who have done well as an U17 team in the U18 Thurlow Nunn league.

Great to see these new initiatives from the FA helping local county associations to provide more support to grassroots volunteers, something I am passionate about which in turn will hopefully help young players in Norfolk.

⚽️UEFA B Diploma Tutoring
Enjoyable few days delivering UEFA B Diploma Module 2 for the FA at Bedfordshire FA.

After looking at Game Models on Module 1 - Module 2 focusses on Coaching Approach.
Great discussions on
• coaching programmes
• linking unit/small group practice to game models for positional understanding
• interventions and coaching strategies

I got to take a functional skill practice on Attacking Centrally vs a Low Block as part of tutor delivery.

Good experience with top group of learners and experienced tutors.

Great evening at supporting one of their volunteer coaches as part of a block of coach development sessions ⚽️

Massive credit to the club for investing in the development of their people. Volunteer coaches are the heartbeat of football and giving them the time & support they deserve makes a huge difference to our young players.

This is what I am passionate about - helping coaches grow, build confidence and deliver great experiences for young players.
