Another great test for the Foxes last night as we took on Sprowston Owls U13s from division 1 in the year above. 🦊⚽

The girls showed absolutely no fear, taking the lead twice before going into half-time 2-1 up.
The second half saw the quality and experience of the Owls shine through as they turned the game around. We battled right until the final whistle, but a wicked own goal, a couple of unlucky moments and missed chances from us didn't help as we eventually lost 5-2.

To push one of the top Division 1 sides a year up the way we did is something every single player should be proud of. There were so many positives to take away, and these are exactly the kind of games that help us improve.

Well done to Evie for being awarded the Owls oppositions player of the match. Always a threat with her power and pace. She gave 100% as always, all with a smile on her face. 😀

Best of luck to Sprowston Owls for the season ahead, and thanks for a fantastic, competitive game. Let's run it back! 💪🏼

THESE GIRLS WERE INCREDIBLE! 👏🏻

From start to finish, we couldn't fault them today. The passing, defending, shape and positioning were all excellent. Every player knew their role and carried it out brilliantly.

Despite dominating the opening stages, we somehow found ourselves 1-0 down after a single counter attack in the first quarter. Our message from the coaches was simple: more of the same. The girls responded perfectly, turning the game around to lead 3-1.

Credit to Aylsham, who hit us on another counter to make it 3-2, but from there the Foxes took complete control. We got better with every quarter, moving the ball brilliantly, creating chance after chance and eventually scoring another 6 to make us 9-2 winners.

The final quarter brought a few challenges, with the heat taking its toll and a couple of injuries meaning we had to play with eight players. Even then, the girls kept working hard and continued to play some excellent football.

Player of the Match was an incredibly difficult decision with everyone performing so well, but this week it went to Bella. She was outstanding at the back, putting out fires all game with her pace, helping us build from the back with simple, composed passes, and using her quick feet and close control to play through pressure.

Another weekend, another two tournaments for the Foxes! 🦊⚽

Saturday saw us at Attleborough, where we lost out in the semi-final on penalties... again! With games only being 8 minutes long, there isn't much time to recover from a slow start or a single mistake. They fly by, and the margins are so fine.

The girls didn't let it affect them though. On Sunday they bounced back in the best possible way by winning the Cromer Tournament! But this time penalties in the final went our way. 🏆

That brings our summer tournament run to an end, and what a run it's been. Winning 8 out of 11 tournaments is an incredible achievement, with the only three we didn't win all ending in semi-final penalty shootout defeats.

Along the way, the girls won a tournament playing a year up, and we even split the squad in half to enter two tournaments on the same day... and they won them both. What a team and what a summer of memories. ❤️

Now it's time to put the tournaments behind us and look forward to getting everyone back together for the start of our 9-a-side matches.

Another weekend, another tournament for the Foxes! 🦊⚽

This time it was the Community Sports Foundation Summer Cup at The Nest, playing 7-a-side.

Our journey ended in the semi-finals after another penalty shootout. It just wasn't our day, but that's football sometimes. I think the busy run of tournaments is starting to catch up with the girls, but they still gave everything as always.

Everyone is disappointed but thats 7 out of 9 Tournament wins for us and only losing on penalties in semi-finals for the 2 we didn't win. Beyond proud of the team.

We're actively looking to arrange some 9-a-side friendlies, so if anyone has availability get in touch.

Another weekend, another two tournaments...

Saturday saw our incredible tournament run finally come to an end at Thetford. We weren't quite at our best and were edged out in the semi-final on penalties. A disappointing way to lose, but the fact the girls came away disappointed with a semi-final finish says everything about how far this team has come. Not long ago we'd have celebrated reaching the last four, now they expect more from themselves.

As all champions do, they responded in the best possible way.
On Sunday, at our home Costessey Tournament, the girls bounced straight back and showed exactly what they're made of, going all the way to lift the trophy once again! 🏆🦊

That makes it an unbelievable 7 tournament wins from our last 8 tournaments. An incredible achievement that reflects the hard work and attitude every single one of these girls brings week after week.

We're so proud of every one of them. Losing is part of football, but it's how you respond and this team responded like true champions.

What a fantastic way to finish, being awarded the Manager's Player of the Season. To receive that recognition from her manager in her first year is a huge achievement and something she should be incredibly proud of. She was also the teams 2nd top goalscorer.

No surprise to us that her ability and especially her strength is being noticed even amongst boys 💪🏼

Well done Scarlett, hopefully the first of many! We can't wait to see what next season brings.

🏆Loddon Tournament Champions🏆

6 tournaments. 6 wins.

Honestly, we’re running out of words.
Today the girls travelled to the Loddon Tournament and somehow managed to do it again. Tournament champions for the SIXTH tournament in a row.

What these girls are achieving is simply unbelievable. Week after week they continue to show up, work their socks off for each other and grind out results.

Every tournament we think surely this run has to end at some point, but they just keep finding a way. To see where they are now, competing against strong opposition and consistently finding a way to come out on top is remarkable.

As coaches, parents and supporters, we're honestly lost for words. Watching this group grow and develop has been an absolute privilege.

6 out of 6. What a team. What a group of girls.

The Foxes just keep making memories.

Well done to Eden, Evie and Sienna as they completed their very first season of mixed football with Spixworth Raptors. ⚽🦖

What a brilliant experience it has been for all three girls. We couldn't be prouder of how they've represented themselves both on and off the pitch.

The season was rounded off with their end-of-season presentation and some well-earned laser tag fun. This was also a farewell as the team will not be continuing next season. 🔫🎉

A special mention has to go to Sienna, who picked up the Manager's Player of the Season award. A fantastic achievement and recognition of the consistant performances and effort she's shown all year. She also narrowly missed out on the Parents' Player of the Season award, finishing as a close runner-up. An amazing achievement and thoroughly deserved. 👏🏻🏆

Well done, girls. You've all had a season to be proud of, and this is only the beginning. We can't wait to see what next season brings! ⚽
