Well done to Ivy for representing Norwich last week in Wisbech. We're loving watching your development and the progress you're making, it's clear for everyone to see.
Also here's another photo from yesterday with the trophy (any excuse! ππ). Ivy played a huge part all day but especially in our semi-final win, winning the ball back high up the pitch and creating the winning goal.

ππ¦ HORSFORD TOURNAMENT U12 GIRLS CHAMPIONS π¦π
What a day and weekend for our Foxes!
Today we stepped up and took on teams a year older than us in the Horsford Tournament. From the first whistle, it was clear this was going to be a battle. Some of the current U12 players looked absolute giants compared to our girls, but not once did that faze them. They rolled their sleeves up, got stuck in and gave absolutely everything for each other.
The group stage was incredibly tight, with just 2 points separating 1st and 4th place. Every game mattered and every player played their part in getting us through to the final. A fantastic achievement in itself against older opposition.
Then came a final that nobody there will forget.
Trailing 1-0 with the referee's whistle in his mouth ready for full time, Scarlett popped up with a dramatic equaliser. The roar from the parents, players and coaches was the loudest we've ever heard. Pure relief, excitement and belief all rolled into one moment.
Into extra time we went, and Holly delivered the winner! Another huge roar echoed around the pitch as our girls completed an incredible comeback.
We couldn't be prouder of this group. Their courage and never-say-die attitude were there for all to see. They showed the heart of absolute warriors today.
The experience they will gain from competing and succeeding against older teams is priceless, and if anything, it will only make the bond and team spirit within this group even stronger.
Evie came along to support the girls and somehow managed to sneak herself a winners medal without playing a single minute! π€£π
Before our girls had even kicked a ball, there was already success in the Costessey camp. Coach Kelly and her Costessey Ladies teammates got the day off to the perfect start by winning their tournament in the morning. β€οΈ
A day we'll remember for a long, long time.

π Aldiss Park Cup 2026 Champions π
Before the tournament began, everyone came together for a minute's silence in memory of a young local player who tragically passed away recently. Our thoughts remain with their family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. β€οΈ
With the sun shining and everyone in great spirits, it was set to be a fantastic day of football. Parents, players and supporters all played their part in creating a brilliant atmosphere throughout the tournament.
The girls were outstanding from start to finish and thoroughly deserved to lift the trophy. When they got the ball down and played, they really showed their quality, combining some excellent passing football with solid defending and clinical finishing in front of goal.A huge well done to every single player for their effort throughout the day.
Commiserations to Costessey Wolves after an all Costessey final. It was great to see two of our teams competing for the trophy, and on this occasion we came out on top with a 2-0 victory.
We couldn't be prouder of the girls. A brilliant day and another fantastic memory made together.

A brilliant couple of days for some of our girls ππ»π¦
Yesterday, Evie represented Norwich's ADP/ETC against Ipswich and had an incredible game scoring 4 goals!
To top it off, after a 4 week trial she has been offered a place. A fantastic achievement and fully deserved. Well done Evie, we are all so proud of you β€οΈ
Today, Iris, Sienna and Scarlett represented the ADC against Ipswich. Another great opportunity and experience for the girls to test themselves against quality opposition.
Keep working hard girls πͺπΌπ¦

Another brilliant match for the girls today against Scarlettβs mixed team, Morley Mustangs.
Scarlett played half for the Foxes and half for Morley todayβ¦ and to make things even better she managed to score against us too π€£ Fair play to her though, no celebration!
It was a really competitive game, especially in the tough hot weather conditions. The Foxes created lots of chances and were unlucky not to come away with more goals. Some of the football played was excellent and the girls battled hard from start to finish.
Evie got on the scoresheet with a great finish from a Scarlett through ball.
The girls absolutely loved the cooling towels and dunking their heads into the bucket of water between breaks π¦ Suns out, guns out for the team photo today π
Bella was our player of the match. She was a rock at the back today and unstoppable driving up the wing. She defended brilliantly, used her quick feet well and as always showed great dribbling throughout the game. Even in the heat she never stopped working and fully deserved her award ππ» ππ»

Every single girl has been amazing this season and this team has gone from strength to strength. The improvement in confidence, character and ability in all of them has been incredible to watch, and every player should be so proud of what they have achieved this year β€οΈ
The bond this group has built on and off the pitch is something really special and they continue to represent the club brilliantly every single week. As coaches, watching the girls grow, learn and enjoy their football together has been the most rewarding part of the season.
A huge thank you to all our parents and supporters for backing the girls week in week out all season long. Your support, encouragement and commitment never goes unnoticed. We are full on and hate having weekends off π€£ππ»ππ»

Leading from the back in goal and helping the team bring home the cup. What an achievement!
The girls love having a coach they can look up to both on and off the pitch, and moments like this inspire the whole team β€οΈπ¦

Another strong test for the girls today
against Red Rose U12s in a 9-a-side friendly.
Playing against a team a year older and already experienced in the format made for a really competitive game and a great battle throughout.
At times the girls were a little cagey, but one thing this team always shows is fight, hunger and desire. They kept going, competed well all over the pitch and earned a deserved 1-1 draw. Sienna with our goal β½
Player of the Match went to Lacie ππ»
Her defending was excellent all game. She used her speed brilliantly for recovery runs, was quick and brave into tackles and was vocal on the pitch, making sure to put her name on the ball.
Opposition Player of the Match was Ivy ππ»
Worked her socks off up down the wing, was brave in the challenges and never stopped battling for the team.
Another really positive step in the girlsβ 9-a-side journey. We are raring to go already! πͺπΌπ¦

Another good test for the girls in a 9-a-side friendly against Premier League Kicks on thursday evening.
The team played some really good football throughout, moving the ball well and showing plenty of confidence in possession. It was great to see the girls enjoying the midweek fixture and continuing to adapt to the bigger pitch and new challenges that come with 9-a-side football.
Player of the Match went to Scarlett ππ»
Her link-up play and quality on the ball were outstanding throughout the game, always looking to bring others into play and keep attacks moving. She also capped off a brilliant performance with 2 well taken goals.
Lots of positives once again as we continue our preparation for next season.
