The box is off the road for a few days - anyone with bookings for the remainder of this week/weekend has been contacted - I’m hoping it will be a fairly quick repair!

A rather large sheet of metal flew off a vehicle on a low loader in front of me and went through the diesel tank 😡 I’m just thankful it didn’t go through the windscreen- but still annoyed about the full tank of diesel that’s ran away down the M62!

I had the most amazing passanger on board who has been a total sweetheart from start to finish- thanks to Equine Rescue Services for organising Boothroyden Horse Transport to get the lovely 4 year old Rolex back to his new home near Fakenham safely! A full road closure was put on to safely transfer him from mine to the other horsebox, highways were amazing and super helpful and the recovery guys will be bringing the box back tomorrow straight to the garage!

This is exactly why i wouldn’t be without breakdown cover as private or transporter and I can highly recommend ERS - having used them on another 2 occasions on the past with my 7.5 tonner - both of which times the lorry and the horses had to be recovered home!

Another busy week dodging the heat! Had the pleasure taking this handsome big lad Will and his lovely owner to a polework clinic yesterday

This clinic was originally booked for last Saturday but with the forecast being plus 30 degrees the clinic was moved to yesterday- any deposits paid on transport and your day out has to be postponed due to the weather I will happily carry the deposit over to the new date where possible 🩵
