So here it is.. the new bike, R6!
Spent the day at our local track Snetterton, first time riding the bike so getting some laps in and getting used to the bike after racing a CB for nearly 2 years!

Can honestly say, very happy with today’s performance! Got to grips well with the bike and getting consistently quicker in each session.

A massive thank you to Simon at SITRAmoto who came down and helped with suspension set up and his knowledge! Made a massive difference in my riding today and also my understanding of the bike.

As always a pleasure to be out on track with good mates Jack & Ian!

Looking forward to see what the rest of 2026 brings!

Aberdare Park Road Races 🏁
First time racing here, place was amazing. Incredible circuit.. very different to any other tracks we’ve raced at and definitely an eye opener!
Saturday completed new comers laps and qualifying for CB500/Bandit & Classic Superbike class. Times coming down each session so was happy with that - PB of 46.1!

Due to an incident on the Saturday, racing was delayed - wishing those involved all the best🤞

Who knew racing round a park could be so much fun!!

Massive shout out to our sponsor Frostbite Services who supplied brand new set of dry tyres for the weekend as always really appreciate the help!

After this weekend there could be some changes coming.. see what happens going forward!

RD5 - Snetterton Bemsee race report 🏁

Brilliant weekend all round, shout out to all the racers, marshalls, paramedics and staff for all coping in the heat and keeping us racing☀️!!

Friday test afternoon - only completed 1 session on the CB, make sure bike was all good to go after the previous off at Oliver’s. Came in, all good.. laid in the paddling pool!!

Saturday Qualifying - CB500 6th in class

Race results :
1 - 4th In class, 13th overall - 2.18.4
2 - 4th In class, 12th overall - 2.18.7
3 - 4th in class, 12th overall - 2.18.1
4 - 4th in class, 13th overall - 2.17.7
Happy with the steady results, got my PB on a CB as well and got myself a spot prize on Saturday!👌

Also had another run out on something new to me - GSXR 750 Srad! Massive thank you to Ian Kirkby for allowing me to use his bike the weekend and for the help! This was definitely an experience getting to race this bike and absolutely loved it!
Unfortunately missed qualifying due to technical issue, so first time ever riding the bike was the first race…. Managed to get down to a 2.11 which more than happy with considering learning a complete new bike!

Onwards to the next outing!

Well.. weekend wasn’t exactly smooth sailing! Unfortunately we didn’t get to complete a full race at Oliver’s Mount!
Saturday morning had 3 laps practice and qualifying session.. bike was spot on, got my PB lap time of 2.09.7 which would have put me 4th on the grid and 11th overall. However after going to pull in after the session, brakes failed and ended up flipping the bike (not ideal)!

Rallied round to get the bike fixed (massive thank you to everyone including Jack, Karl, Paul, Oliver, Shaun, Will, Ian & Rachel, Jack G) for the help and parts needed! Bike was checked and passed, however helmet was a write off!

Made the decision not to race on the Saturday as wasn’t feeling 100%.
Sunday morning went out for practice, steady laps and everything was good..

Our 1st race of the day, unfortunately had a total of 3 red flags (wishing all the best to those involved) and the race ended up being cancelled.
Whilst out on the 2nd re-run, came back in and made the decision not to go back out as the bike didn’t feel right with juddering under braking and felt no confidence in it.. (believe to be a bent disc)!!

Decided to call it a day, travel 5 hours home and start fixing up the minor issues on the bike I.e fibreglass seat unit back together and straighten a few things 🙄!

So now we have a very busy few days getting the bike fully back together, all in working order as we’ll be at our home track Snetterton this weekend with BEMSEE!

Round 3 - Donington Park with Bemsee

Completed half test day on the Friday to get familiar again with the circuit as only the second time being here since 2025 round. Quali done on Saturday morning putting me 3rd in class with a 1.52.1

Race results :
1 - 🥉In class, 14th overall - 1.51.6
2 - 🥈In class, 12th overall - 1.51.4
3 - DNF! Completed 4 laps, bike decided to cut out just after sector 1. PB of 1.51.2
4 - 🥈In class, 11th overall - Ended with my PB of 1.51.1

Very happy with the results and cracking weekend as always racing with the CBs!

Unfortunately will be missing the next round at Cadwell Park due to being on the IOM! However will be racing at the Barry Sheene Festival @ Oliver’s Mount (20th June), then back with BEMSEE at our local Snetterton the weekend after!!

Race report 🏁
Round 2 - Oulton Park (Bemsee)

Half test day on Thursday, 2nd time at the circuit since last year. Beating my fastest lap time by 6 seconds.

Race results :
1 - DNF, sadly due to weather conditions and going out on the wrong tyres. Started on dry, by lap one the rain came in so pulled in after red flag.
2 - Started 27th on the grid, finished 17th overall and 7th in class which was mega happy with!
3 - DNF, completed 7 laps however went out on wet front and dry rear, by lap 6 track was pretty dry and felt no grip in the front at all so came in.
4 - Started 18th on the grid, finished 11th overall and 4th in class. Great race! Was happy to end on a high!

Fastest lap time of the weekend was a 2.02.8 which is a personal achievement for me.

Another good weekend completed, now to get ready for first round at Oliver’s Mount for the Bob Smith Spring Cup at Scarborough!
