The girls are super excited and determined to bring home another medal and will be aiming for Gold 🥇

Representing our country is wonderful but it takes allot of time and a lot more money. The dream is to have a sponsor whether thats for travel, kit, tackle or clothing so if you or anyone you know, has a business that would like us girls to shout about, please do get intouch.

We have been overwhelmed with the amount of messages and texts of support. Not only thanking us for a great day but those wanting to donate. Therefore, we have activated our funding page.

First of all …. What a great day 🎣 thank you to every single person that was involved in making today great 💙💕

On arrival at Kelling beach, Norfolk, everyone enjoyed a breakfast hot dog coocked and supplied but Todd Moore thank you !

With belly’s full, we made our way down to the beach with the sea looking good 🌊 thanks to Neil & Tom for pe***ng the beach. The weather held out until half time and then the rain came, although thankfully, nothing too heavy.

Lots of lovely Norfolk whiting and dabs caught with lots of decent size. The beach seemed Peggy but everyone gave it their best shot. Mood was high and there’s was lots of laughs all day - which is what it’s all about 😀

After the match, all anglers made their way to The Red Heart pub Bodham, where we were greeted by the lovely staff there with hot food on offer - best cheesy chips ever !

We had sooo many raffle prizes so the ticket draw seemed to go on forever but everyone was pleased with their prizes and we thank everyone that donated ❤️

We then moved onto the results!

We had 4 junior anglers today; all did amazing ! They stuck it out and all caught fish. They had great fun today, and gave the adults a run for their money. Thanks for being part of the day, kids 🥇

With very few points separating the team, THE MEN WON THE DAY!!! 🥇 well done lads, well deserved! 💙 thank you for taking on the challenge 🎣

With the day coming to a close ,we had a count up of what had been raised for the ladies Home Nations tournament which will be held in England this year starting in June …. We raised an incredible £758!!! This is so very much appreciated and will really help the team on their way to bringing the gold home 🥇

There will be a video out soon to which we owe our thanks to Duane Lockwood 💙 Duane walked the beach interviewing every angler and catching as much of the day as he could. Thank you!

I can’t close without mentioning the man of the match ⭐️Keith Cheesman⭐️ who had a fall before the match started but insisted on getting down to the beach and fishing. Keith managed the whole match, up and down the dreaded shingle as quick as the rest of us. After leaving the beach at the end of the match, Keith went straight to hospital where it was confirmed he had broken his leg. What an absolute trooper !! We all wish you a speedy recovery Keith and can’t wait to see you on the beach again soon.

Thank you, the support we have had has been overwhelming and heart warming. We look forward to the next match against The Norfolk Angling Club where we will be determined to win back the medal 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🎣

Gate will be open from 8am, card at 9am for the match to run 10am - 2pm.

Breakfast rolls will be available for a donation to fill your bellies for the challenging day ahead.

results will be shared at the Red Heart Pub, Bodham so please make your way there, after the match. The lovely Roy at the Red Heart Pub has said that hot Baguettes and chips will be available for those that have worked up a hunger.

A raffle will also be held at the pub to which lots of great prizes have been donated but we can never have to many so anything donated on the day, will be greatly appreciated. Raffle tickets £5 a strip and will be available to buy before and after the match.

friendly reminder to be respectful of the parking area and the beach, ensuring that all rubbish is taken away with you.

It’s not long now until our match 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. We have had a lot of Interest which is great. The more the merrier ! So if you would like to join the ladies (men of course welcome in our team too) team for this match, do let us know you; will be very welcome 💕

Soooo NAC guys have challenged us ladies to a match in February 2026 - Are they mad or just confident 😉.

As well as having a great day with lots of laughs and fish, hopefully, we will also be raising money towards the Home Nations in 2026.
