Year one Pupils at SOUTHWARK SCHOOL in Basford, Nottingham last week enjoyed a workshop about Rio de Janeiro 🎉

They learned about the cultural heritage & education, the language they speak in Brazil, SAMBA & CARNIVAL and sequences and rhythms using music fresh out of Rio!!

Pupils laughed, sang, got out of breath, shared and learnt culture and embraced differences positively
