🚨 Football clubs in England have agreed to trial a new rule aimed at preventing goalkeepers from exaggerating injuries to create tactical timeouts.

Under the new trial, if a goalkeeper goes down injured and requires treatment, the manager or head coach must nominate an outfield player to leave the pitch for one minute once play resumes.

The change is designed to discourage unnecessary stoppages while ensuring teams do not gain a tactical advantage from goalkeeper injury delays.
