Good morning fabulous YOU!
Something I want you to keep in mind this week….
You don’t have to wait until things fall apart to pause.
Taking time to reflect isn’t only for moments of crisis. Sometimes it’s how you:
- stay aligned
- make confident decisions
- and avoid burnout later on.
A gentle reset now can save a lot of energy down the line.
Have a great week!

Before you rewrite your plans or overhaul your business…
Ask:
Do I need a new strategy — or just a clearer perspective?
04/03/2026
You’re allowed to want success AND ease.
Ambition and wellbeing are not opposites.
It’s possible to:
- grow your business
- develop your career
- make thoughtful decisions
- and still have energy left at the end of the day.
Sustainable progress rarely comes from doing more.
It comes from doing the right things, at the right time - with the right level of support.
You’re allowed to choose a calmer way.

When progress slows, the instinct is often to push harder.
But sometimes the most helpful thing you can do is pause long enough to see clearly again.
There’s no prize for rushing forward in the wrong direction.

You don’t need more motivation.
You need clarity.
After a little break from posting, I wanted to share this reminder - because it’s something I see often in my coaching work.
Sometimes what feels like a lack of motivation is actually a lack of direction.
When everything feels equally important, it becomes difficult to decide:
- what to focus on
- what to postpone
- what to let go of
And that’s often when progress slows. Not because you’ve lost momentum, but because you’re carrying too many competing priorities at once.
Clarity isn’t always about having the perfect plan.
Sometimes it’s simply about deciding what matters most right now.
Not everything needs to be solved today.
Sometimes clarity comes after you’ve stepped away from the noise — not while you’re trying to think through it.
(Taking notes from someone who is very good at rest 🐾)
Save this for when everything feels urgent.

All the ‘new year, new me’ noise is LOUD. Apparently, we should be making plans, setting goals, starting a new exercise regime, and giving up alcohol… all at the same time! But what if I told you there’s a softer, gentler way to start the year?

I created Refresh & Shine for people who don’t need fixing — they need space.
Space to step away from the noise.
Space to untangle ideas.
Space to reconnect with what actually matters in their business or career.
It’s a one-day, focused reset designed to help you:
– regain clarity
– rebuild confidence
– leave with a calm, realistic plan forward
No pressure. No overwhelm.
Just thoughtful, supportive guidance tailored to you.
If you’re curious, the details are in the link in my bio —
or you’re welcome to DM me the word REFRESH and we’ll talk it through.

A reminder you might need this week:
You don’t need to have everything figured out to move forward.
You just need one clear next step.
Progress doesn’t always look like momentum.
Sometimes it looks like:
– choosing fewer priorities
– saying no more often
– slowing down enough to think clearly.
There is nothing wrong with wanting
success and ease.
Ambition and wellbeing are not opposites.
You’re allowed to choose a calmer way — and still want more.
If this resonates, you’re in the right place.

If you’ve been feeling flat, overwhelmed, or quietly frustrated with your business lately, this is for you.
Most of the people I work with aren’t lacking ambition or ability.
They’re juggling too many ideas, too many expectations, and not enough space.
When everything feels urgent, clarity disappears.
Confidence dips.
And even good work starts to feel heavy.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do isn’t more — it’s creating space to step back, breathe, and see what actually matters.
If that resonates, you’re not behind.
You’re just ready for a reset.
Save this for later — or share it with someone who needs the reminder.

Beware ‘Toxic Resilience’ and Burnout
Not all resilience is healthy.
There’s a version we don’t talk about enough — the kind that tells you to just keep pushing, even when you’re mentally, emotionally or physically depleted.
Healthy resilience honours your boundaries, encourages support, and allows you to adapt without losing yourself.
Toxic resilience demands you power through at any cost — often celebrated in a culture that ties self-worth to productivity.
I believe this version is not strength. It’s strain.
And over time, it leads to burnout.
If you needed this reminder today — you’re not alone.
Save this post for when you need to give yourself permission to rest. You have nothing to prove.
