A lovely afternoon in the sun.

We’re hoping the current sunny weather holds through to our first open afternoon on Sunday 3rd May at 2pm.

Not sure if it’s for you…it’s a simple game that’s tricky to master, of gentle (ish) competition in a social atmosphere. Wear your flat shoes and come on down.

The weather is definitely with us as we (shiver&) shake off the winter cobwebs and get on the green.

Finals day was wonderful. Thanks to all who participated and a full house of spectators.

George, David and Graham persevered through the rain, to win the random Triples shield.
And the sun came out!

During Sunday afternoons in May, the bowls club will be open for folks to come and try the game.
Families are welcome, although our smallest woods (bowls) maybe too big for hands younger than 12/13.
Let’s hope we get great weather!
