1st & 2nd May 2026 at Nottingham Moderns Rugby Club, Wilford, NG11 7AA. The festival raises funds for junior rugby at NMRFC and other local charities.
South Notts Real Ale Festival is a vibrant, local beer festival with a great band of local and beer-loving followers. We're entirely run by volunteers and supported by local businesses - if you want to get involved, just drop us a line, we love to have a chat. The Legacy Cowboys have arrived!

Seems the weather Gods are playing nicely as we prepare for day 2 of the festival. 2 games of rugby to look forward to. Nottingham Moderns RFC v Legacy Cowboys RFC kicking off at 1.00 followed by the University of Nottingham RFC v Stewart’s and Lloyd’s RFC at 3.00 in the quarter finals of the North Plate.
Over 40 real ales, 4 ciders and gin bar PLUS the club bar will be open PLUS Becky’s (not just a) Burger Van is up and running already!
