As it's our 50th Anniversary it would be really good to see as many people there as possible, so please encourage any ex-members to come along and join us on the night.

Bob has donated some kit free to any club member:

1 × Large Buddy Commando.
1 × Weight Harness with spare pocket.
1 × set of regulators consisting of:
Aqua Lung 1st stage.
Aqua Lung Glacia 2nd stage.
Contents and Depth Gauge in Console.

The jacket and regulators will need servicing before use.

If anyone is interested in some / all of the above let me know and I will bring it to the pool on Thursday.

Another great Mercia party. We raised £645.10. Thanks to everyone who helped to put it all together. Special thanks to Paul for all the games, Bob and his trainee Andy for the sticky 13s.
We've booked next year for Saturday 7th December and will be looking at booking another summer party some time next June.

The Christmas party is only 1 week away (2nd December) and we're still short of a few items of food for the buffet:

Ham cobs
Prawn cobs
Pork pie
Sausage rolls
Chinese party selection
Mini sausages
Cheese & pineapple on sticks
Chicken skewers
Filled wraps
Quiche
Veggie snacks?
Mince pies
Cakes
Crisps/Mini cheddars/Twiglets etc.

A quick reminder. This year's Christmas party at the Vale Social Club is booked for Saturday 2nd December

For those that don't already know, the pool will be closed next week 19th January for the celebration of Max's life. The ceremony will be held at 12:00pm at Gedling Crematorium and afterwards at the Gedling Inn.

As the pool is closed for the next two weeks a few of us are meeting at the Willowbrook this Thursday from 7:30 onwards, all welcome

Thanks to everyone who came to the Christmas party last night. We raised a massive £388 towards club funds.

We've booked next year for 3rd December so save the date.

Jim has found a new home for the club boat and best of all it's free for a year. The only catch is; to get it parked up we need to clear an overgrown patch. The site is on Douglas Avenue and Jim is asking for volunteers this Wednesday from 10:00 to assist with the clearance. If you can help please contact Jim or myself.
