There's a lot of evidence to support the effectiveness of moving one part of the body to fix another. One of the benefits of this method is that, unlike exercises from the physio, you aren't having to move the part that hurts!
That also makes it a very safe method.

Jeff pulled a muscle lifting a new oven into place. Even after seeing the physio, weeks later his arm still hurt. 15 mins of exercises using the Pain-Free Movement method and the pain is much less and he is using his arm again!
