📢 As some of you may already know on a Sunday we run a Girls football team. Well this season 2025/2026 the girls are going into U16s and we are looking for a business to help us and sponsor a football Kit for them. So if anyone can.. or knows anyone who might be interested in having their business advertised on the kit please share and ask around ⚽️🙏

The final award for the season is the Managers Player award. This girl joined us towards the back end of the season in 22/23 at our previous club. She was new to grassroots football, only having played at school in the school team. She re~signed for a fresh season in 23/24 and what a season it was. After a brilliant start the season it proved to be our toughest yet, week in week out only 8/9 players a game, some score lines in double figures. This did not discourage her and she signed again for our latest season. Whilst this award is for this year, we also want recognise the hard work and determination of this player throughout her whole journey as this is what’s led to her getting this award this season. She has shown great ability from day one and we knew we had got ourselves a little gem. She’s gone from strength to strength with every game, with many of her games being incredible. We can’t wait to see what the new season brings for our team this year but we know it wouldn’t be the same without our very own Mini Maza - Tait

Tackling… this doesn’t come easy to some girls as there’s always a risk involved, whether that’s injury or not winning the ball and feeling deflated. But that’s the game. It’s something we’ve been working on in training quite a bit over the season and whilst all the girls are improving, this particular girl goes in and goes in hard. She’s even taken Alfie out in training a few times. She’s not shy to get stuck in and shows great determination on winning the ball. She’s a great all rounder and we utilise her skills in many positions on the pitch during games. But this girl for this season is our winner for Best Tackles - A big well done to Amy
