🥊 Regional Quarter-Final Delight for Azhar! 🥊

Youth boxer Azhar today represented NBFC in the Regional Quarter-Finals of the National Development Championships.

Azhar produced a very controlled and composed performance, putting his opponent under constant pressure and forcing the opposing corner to withdraw their boxer at the end of the second round.

Azhar now moves on to the Regional Semi-Finals next Saturday. 👊

Next Saturday, we’ll have four NBFC boxers in action in Birmingham, all hoping to secure their place in the Regional Finals.

A fantastic performance, Azhar. Well done! 🥊👏

No Sparring tonight

🥊 NBFC made the long journey to Jersey 🇯🇪

Tonight, senior boxer Charlie took part in his third contest, making the trip over to Jersey to represent NBFC.

Charlie boxed at a ferocious pace from start to finish, constantly backing up his taller opponent and showing great determination throughout. After three hard-fought rounds, Charlie was deservedly declared the winner by unanimous decision. 🏆

Charlie is one of the hardest-working lads on the squad, and he can now build on this first win of the season as he continues to develop and improve. 💪🥊

A huge thank you to James for taking Charlie over to Jersey and giving up his time to support the boxer. It’s massively appreciated.

And finally, thank you to Jersey Boxing Academy for being such great hosts and for putting on a fantastic event. 👏
