At Rowntree CIC, we are passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals and reach their full potential, which is why we are proud to have recently donated Β£2,500 to support Ellie Thirkell on her incredible Great Britain Tag Rugby journey to the British & Irish Cup and the World Cup. ππ¬π§
Our contribution will help towards match day and training kit, along with travel costs for training camps and tournaments in England, Ireland and Australia.
Representing your country is an amazing achievement, and we are delighted to play a small part in helping Ellie pursue a sport she is truly passionate about.
We wish Ellie every success and will be cheering her on every step of the way! β€οΈ

π΄ Weβre excited to announce that Rowntree CIC has been working alongside local architecture business Property Design Studio to help bring our vision to life for the new equine therapy centre in Nottingham. π¬π§
Designed to support individuals with a wide range of physical and cognitive needs, the centre has been carefully planned to create a calm, welcoming, and fully accessible environment focused on wellbeing and inclusion.
The design combines a natural stone base with warm timber cladding to create a space that feels both grounded and comforting β reflecting the therapeutic purpose of the facility and its connection to the surrounding landscape.
Hereβs a sneak peek at some of the early plans for the new equine therapy centreβ¦ what do you think? π

π Introducing Rowntree CIC β where we give back to our communities.
Rowntree CIC is committed to supporting local organisations that improve wellbeing, inclusion, and opportunities for young people.
Our first community contribution was a Β£500 donation to Southwell Cricket Club to support cricket provision for local junior and adult teams. π Southwell Cricket Club
Grassroots sport plays a huge role in bringing communities together, building confidence, and creating opportunities for people of all ages β and weβre proud to play a small part in supporting that.
We look forward to supporting more community projects across Nottingham and the UK. π¬π§

β½ Proud to introduce Rowntree CIC Scotland Division
Based in Wick, Caithness, our Scottish division is dedicated to supporting youth sport and community development across the Highlands.
We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to take part in sport, build confidence, improve wellbeing, and feel part of their community β no matter where they live.
Through grassroots sport, we aim to support local clubs, improve access to equipment and facilities, and help remove barriers preventing girls and boys from participating.
By investing in young people today, we hope to create stronger, healthier, and more connected communities for the future. π
