And that’s it for 25-26!
The season closed with an exciting opportunity for the boys to play on the main stadium as we welcomed Preston Grasshoppers to Liberty Way. With a huge contingent of players, family and coaches, The Hoppers brought an infectious, end-of-season party mood with them which was enjoyed by all and really celebrated the rugby family idea which is so central to our sport.
On the pitch, the rugby was competitive and hard-fought - this was no casual last day run-out - and both teams gave it their all. The sportsmanship and respect shown by all players was a credit to both teams and their coaches.
Thanks to all parents & families who have supported the boys throughout the year; thanks too to all the volunteers at Nuneaton RFC who ensure that the rugby magic happens week in, week out - without your commitment, this would not be possible.

What a wonderful day of rugby in the sunshine yesterday at Nuneaton Minis Festival. Our boys competed well and improved throughout the day, and as always enjoyed being together as a team - as did the parents!
Thanks to Nuneaton Old Eds, Bedworth, Old Wheats and Barkers Butts for solid competition and sportsmanship. The U10s final was a hard fought and tense affair between Old Wheats & Old Eds which was just edged by our Nuneaton neighbours. Well done, Old Eds!
Huge thanks to our U12 Team Managers, Coaches and parents who organised the day, and everyone else at the Club who pitched in to ensure it went so smoothly.

An entertaining, enjoyable and competitive morning of rugby against Market Bosworth yesterday; some great individual and team tries from Nuns.

After recent fixtures being affected by the poor weather, it was great to host Bedworth at Liberty Way today. Thanks to our visitors for an enjoyable and competitive morning of rugby!

A strong performance in a round robin fixture against Leicester Forest & Hinckley. The lads competed strongly at the ruck, made tackles count and moved the ball around well, putting into practice everything their coaches had recently worked on.
Oh, and there were birthday cakes too!

Indoor training today due to the ongoing terrible weather, working on rucking, passing/handling and drawing the defender.
Thanks to all who came, and to Nuneaton Club For Young People for the use of their facilities.
Another great training session. It was fantastic to welcome more new players wanting to explore rugby (maybe inspired by the Rugby World Cup).
We’ve got another training session planned for this weekend getting ready for our first game at beginning of October.
If your kids fancy giving it a go then come on down to the Nuneaton RFC at 10:00 on Sunday. We’ll have people to meet and greet you and help you find the right place to be. Then some top coaches to help your children develop their rugby skills. Finally, after training take a trip to our vibrant clubhouse for a snack and drink. AND THERE WILL BE A BOUNCY CASTLE - just in case your kids haven’t burned off enough energy!
