So the Final Score Of the World record Futsal Marathon was
Futsole - 776 Oxford Brookes Futsal Club - 804
The game was incredibly close with the scores level on 4 different occasions, they where also level with only 4 hours to go which was one of the reasons that game was played to such a high intensity right through to the end.
Congrats to the Oxford Brookes Futsal Club for the win.
Tapp and Magnus Combine
Here is the Video of the moment we beat the current Guinness world record of 40 hours held by a In aid action futsal from Norway. There were however a team from birmingham who recently played a 44 hours match which hasn't yet been approved by Guinness which is why we had to play 45.
Never the less it was a great feeling to know we had accomplished what the current holders had which is captured in the video.
Exactly 24 hours ago we did it!!! Futsole and the Oxford Brookes Futsal Club played out the longest ever Futsal match ever which should be entering the Guinness world records in the next couple of months.
Hopefully this should provide a launch pad for the company of futsole to be a success.
Expect a barrage of photos and videos of futsal over the next few days. And look out for the match video made by Alan Deng.
The World Record in in our sights. Only 7 hours to go!!!!

The Oxford Brookes world record squad - After some circuit training in the park
As you may now know Futsole and the Oxford Brookes Futsal Club are preparing themselves for the monumental challenge of going head to head in a 45 hour futsal marathon in order to break the world record for the longest ever game of futsal.
What could possibly motivate the squads more than words of encouragement from the man, the legend Bear Grylls himself! Bear unfortunately declined the offer to partake in the marathon himself as the food eaten on the sidelines would have been a bit too mainstream for him. Never the less Bear is a god amongst men and we are incredibly grateful for his world of encouragement.
Please go to our event page to see the full list of all the squad members charities and feel free to donate to their causes- https://www.facebook.com/events/806354446045306/
If you can then please spare some time and cash and donate to the collective oxford brookes futsal club charity here - http://www.justgiving.com/worldrecordfutsalmarathon
Many thanks to Ed Radway for talking his mate Bear into doing this vid.
Enjoy!
