Hi, I am Tony and I am a certified UKA endurance coach, as well as holding certifications in personal training and sports nutrition. Hi! I'm Tony.
I help the over 40s, prioritise their physical and mental wellbeing. Plan Better | Worry Less | Live More I am a UKA certified Running Coach based in Oxford. I live with my partner and our gorgeous daughters. In the past 10 years I have completed over 10 marathons all over the world, pursued various distance triathlon events and completed several half and full Ironman events.

empty track and still wouldn’t let a member use it 🤷🏼♂️ in fact whenever I run past it always seems empty! 🤔
So undeterred I took to the street to complete my interval session 12 x 2mins with 1 min recovery.
I love intervals and it’s so great to get back into training. After 3 months of strength training I’m looking forward to seeing how this positively impacts my training.

Day 1 of my new program 😄
So great to be back in the gym again. are still taking sensible precautions which includes masks and booking the session but only too happy to follow.
Going to be in the Gym at least 3 times a week and will do a Kettle Bell without at home and some shorter run sessions.
I really enjoy putting programs together for my health clients and it’s fun to plan one for myself.
This program isn’t based on running or performance although there will be additional benefits, it’s aimed squarely at body competition.

Starting the ‘ unlock’ Monday with an early swim, although my patience gave out 200m from the end of my session! - just got caught up behind a lane selection error 🤣
Then a walk and talk meeting at lunchtime before a face to face client meeting in the afternoon!
It’s soooo good to move into a new stage but with new lessons and take sways from this whole experience
Not to mention time in my car....on my own...listening to my music..bliss 🤣

This week was an ‘easy week’ due to a full schedule and the awful weather!
But chose to get out for a short steady run this morning.
Lucky to have so many beautiful locations to run but Christchurch park still remains my favourite location for a couple of loops!

Mental Health Week and it has a Nature theme to it...
After 50 yrs of building my own ‘user manual’ I know that I need to get outside and move when I’m feeling the ‘funk’ bite.
And today, after a day of dull admin, I continued my jump rope based workouts and played about with the KB swings.
You don’t need complicated you just need consistency.

Great to be back in the pool!...even though it still remains THE most tedious part of my training!🤣
I actually preferred the post Covid arrangements for the pool! Limited numbers, book online and scan in, 50min session and go with swimming kit on!
