π Great Milton Village Fete β Saturday 13th June
π Watlington Fete β Saturday 27th June
If you're visiting either event, please do come and say hello. We'd love to see some familiar faces and have a chat.
Whether you're attending a meeting, stopping by one of the fetes, or simply following our journey, thank you for being part of the Widow Tree community.
β€οΈ You're not alone.
Just checking in with anyone who may be finding this long bank holiday weekend difficult. π€
We know weekends like these can feel especially hard when youβre grieving the loss of your person β and May can feel even heavier with two bank holidays so close together.
While the world around you seems full of plans, family time and togetherness, grief often makes the absence feel even bigger.
If youβre struggling this weekend, please know you are not alone. Whether today feels quiet, overwhelming, emotional or simply exhausting, Widow Tree is thinking of you.
Take things gently. One hour at a time if needed. π€
π Widow Tree Benson Group β This Friday
Our Benson Widow Tree group meets this Friday at Benson House Care Home from 10:30am β 12:00pm.
A gentle, friendly space for anyone navigating the loss of a partner. Come for a chat, a coffee and the comfort of people who understand. Thereβs no pressure to talk β just being there is enough. π
We know Fridays donβt work for everyone, and weβre currently reviewing the best day/location for the group going forward.
π Weβd really love your feedback:β’ Would you be more likely to come on a different day?β’ Would another location suit you better?β’ Would afternoons/evenings help more?
Please comment below or message me privately β all feedback genuinely helps us shape the group around what people need most. π
