We’re delighted to welcome Freya Langlais-Trinder to Barton United Athletic Women for the upcoming season!

Freya was an integral part of our U18 treble-winning squad last season and has made the transition into women’s football brilliantly. Her performances, attitude and development have impressed us, and we’re delighted that she has now officially put pen to paper and committed to the Athletics.

We’re really looking forward to seeing Freya continue her development and make her mark at senior level.

💬 Another really good competitive pre season game.
I thought we controlled parts of the game especially first half, but lost a bit of momentum with some of our decision making in possession as the game went on. Obviously pre season is all about the minutes and again today valuable minutes as we look ahead to the season.
Nice to get another 4 goals, and against another side from a higher division it’s really looking quite promising for the season.

We thought we was quite dominant from the start and you could really see signs of the team coming together. Obviously minutes are the most important thing but to score a few goals and another clean sheet is really pleasing.

🚨 NEW SIGNING ✍️ – LARA ROYALL! 🔴⚫

We’re delighted to announce another exciting addition to the Barton United FC Athletic Ladies squad!

🌟 Lara Royall 🌟

Lara is another of our U18 starlets who has been dual-signed with our U18s over the past few seasons, alongside spells with Watford and Wycombe.

A strong and composed central midfielder, Lara brings plenty of energy, determination and, importantly, a very vocal presence on the pitch! 🗣️💪

She’s a player who leads by example and will be a fantastic addition to the Athletics as we head into the 2026/27 season.
