Yesterday was a very special experience for our Inter Penarth girls! ⚽️💚

We were invited to be part of the 'Her Game Too' campaign, with our girls taking on the fantastic role of flag bearers for Cardiff City vs Wrexham.

It was a truly memorable experience for everyone involved, and the girls represented Inter Penarth AFC beautifully — with huge smiles, plenty of excitement and so much pride! 💚

Most importantly, it was a special moment for the girls to see women succeeding at a professional level and to experience first-hand the opportunities that football can offer them.

A massive thank you to everyone who made the experience possible. It’s a day our girls will remember for a very long time!

The FAW has FREE, non-means-tested funding available to help players with the cost of playing football.

It can help with membership fees, kit, boots, equipment and even travel costs — and there’s no bank statements, proof of income or judgment involved.

If you or your child could benefit, please get in touch. We can even complete the application on your behalf.

📅 This year’s fund closes on 20th September.

After plenty of sunshine, lollies, laughs, medals, and celebrations, we're delighted to announce that we raised an amazing £3,630.09! 🎉
