🏔️ Mountain Strong Women’s Run 📍 Kirkby Stephen
New week, new trails 👟 I took the ladies exploring the Upper Eden Valley, soaking up some incredible views and discovering what each spot has to offer. As always, we rounded things off with a well earned social at a local pub 🍻
There are SO many beautiful trails and fells around us that so many women have never explored and that’s exactly what we’re changing, one run at a time 🙌
Watching this group grow in confidence has been amazing to see, not just on the trails, but in exploring new places full stop. Running somewhere unfamiliar as a woman especially alone can feel daunting. That’s why we run together 💪 It gives everyone the chance to discover new routes, build confidence, and fall more in love with running.
Every 5 weeks we switch up our routes, so you always get fresh terrain, new views, different pubs and someone in the group smashing a new goal every single time 🎉
Nights are drawing in but that won’t slow us down, headtorches are coming back out next month and we’ll keep hitting the trails together, having fun, one run at a time ✨

⛰️ MASSIVE well done to my athletes for taking in the 50 miler last weekend 👏
🎉 finally ran her first 50 miler and this one was special. After a few years of setbacks and having to push the race back, she finally got her shot. And what a race it was! She went in feeling fitter and stronger than ever, and it showed, she looked strong the entire way round. 💪
🎉 Eve Howard took on this race for the second time and smashed her previous time by 1.5 HOURS! 🤯 This was her first year working with a coach, which gave her better structure, more consistency, and no more burnout from juggling training with a busy job. Better fuelling, better hydration, and a stronger, fitter version of herself…..the result speaks for itself. She loved every minute of it. 🥳
One very proud coach right here, incredible work ladies, here’s to the next one! 🥂🏃♀️

🔥 Huge shoutout to my athletes for getting out there in the heat and absolutely smashing their goals this weekend! 🔥
🏔️ Corky Westwood took on the RunThrough Trails Morzine Trail Race, tackling 25km with 1,343m of elevation gain.
Corky is relatively new to the team but has some big goals on the horizon this year. This race wasn’t about chasing a PB it was a fantastic opportunity to practise key race day skills including nutrition, hydration, pole technique, and, most importantly, learning that not every training run has to be raced hard. Sometimes the biggest gains come from slowing down, enjoying the experience, and working on the areas that will make you stronger in the long run. 💪
I couldn’t be prouder of all three of you. ❤️
On one of the hottest weekends of the year, you all executed your fuelling and hydration strategies brilliantly, moved consistently and strongly, and most importantly, enjoyed the process.
All three athletes have been putting in the work week after week with both their running and strength & conditioning. That consistency builds resilience, confidence, and the ability to take on huge challenges like these.
Now it’s time for the next phase of training… and I can’t wait to see what you achieve next! 🚀
🚴♀️ Salka took on the incredible Chase The Sun challenge, riding 200 miles with 3,200m of elevation from Whitley Bay all the way to Ayr, Scotland.
This was an outstanding achievement, especially after suffering a nasty fall just a few weeks earlier that required stitches in her arm. Injuries like that can seriously dent your confidence, but she showed incredible resilience, rode consistently strong, and kept smiling from start to finish. 🙌
🏃♂️ Matt Rogerson set himself the challenge of running the Capital Ring in London a 126km circular route that passes through some of the city’s greenest suburbs.
This was set to be the furthest and longest run of his life. While he didn’t complete the full route, he absolutely smashed an incredible 95km, which is an achievement to be hugely proud of. Sometimes success isn’t defined by the finish line but by how far

🔥 Huge shoutout to my athletes who have been smashing their races recently! 🔥
🏃♀️ took on the Lake District Sky Trails 21km just a few weeks after completing UTS 50km. After some well earned recovery, she felt strong on the hills and was pleasantly surprised by just how much fun a shorter race could be! 💪⛰️
🏃♀️ Marie-Louisa Raeburn has been busy building her race experience, taking on the Tórshavn Half Marathon in the Faroe Islands 🇫🇴 and the Wild Deer Events 10km in Pooley Bridge. These events are perfect opportunities to gain confidence, learn how to race in different environments, and prepare for her big goal race in September. 🚀
Both of these ladies are training for much bigger events ahead, which means plenty of long days out and increasing mileage. Including smaller races along the way keeps training enjoyable, builds consistency, and gives them valuable confidence boosts every time they toe the start line. ✨
Well done, ladies! 👏 I’m so excited to see what you achieve in your next races. 🙌

Huge congratulations to for absolutely smashing the 25km last weekend ⛰️🔥
Over the past year, Kimmy has been building her strength and confidence in the mountains and she is absolutely thriving 💪 From taking on ETC in Europe to pushing herself further with more mountain races here in the UK
For the last 6+ months we’ve been working hard on strength training, progressing through different exercises and programmes to improve her ability to handle more load in the gym 🏋️♀️ This has allowed us to introduce more specific work including plyometrics, run-specific isometrics and a huge focus on building stronger legs for those climbs ⛰️⚡️
Every week Kimmy has spoken about how much stronger and more capable she feels and the best part is she’s genuinely enjoying the process 🙌 This is someone who once didn’t enjoy the gym, but now loves it because she can feel the benefits out on the trails 🏃♀️
What’s been even more amazing to watch is her confidence grow. From doubting herself to signing up for bigger mountain races and fully trusting her abilities 🌟
So proud of everything you’re achieving Kimmy… onto the next adventure 🚀
