What a start to life as Mounts Bay Merlins in the top division.

Right from the first whistle the boys showed unrelenting energy and desire. They chased every ball, they closed down every opponent, and they were clinical in front of goal.

Today we begin our very first league campaign as Mounts Bay Youth FC, and we couldn't be more excited. We welcome Troon Jackals to Mounts Bay Academy this morning in what should be a cracking game.

Thank you to the MBA team, and in particular Kev Lawrence, for allowing us use of such a great facility. The players are going to love that surface.
