An Important Update from Scotland Westie Fest 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

After a great deal of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to put Scotland Westie Fest on hiatus for 2027.

Running Scotland Westie Fest as a solo event director has its challenges, however watching our amazing local WCS community grow, welcoming dancers from across the UK and beyond, and creating unforgettable weekends together has been incredibly rewarding.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Like many events, the landscape has changed significantly over recent years. After carefully reviewing everything involved in delivering the event to the standard you’ve come to expect, I’ve decided that taking a break next year is the right decision.

This isn’t goodbye💕it’s simply a pause.

My hope is to use this time to recharge, explore new possibilities, and return with fresh energy for Scotland Westie Fest 2028.

I want to sincerely thank every dancer, instructor, DJ, volunteer and supporter who has been part of our journey. Your loyalty, enthusiasm and friendships have meant more than you know, and I’m so grateful for every one of you who has come and supported the event

Thank you for your continued support. I truly hope this is “see you soon” rather than farewell, and I can’t wait for the day we can all dance together again.

Join us for an exciting afternoon of WCS on Sunday 5th April 2026 at the Robert Douglas Memorial Hall, Scone, Perth

🕺 Schedule:

2:00 PM – All-level dance class (perfect for those with some experience)
After class – Social dancing until 5:30 PM

💃 Come along to improve your moves, meet fellow dancers, and enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere on the dance floor.

🚗 Free car parking available
☕ Light refreshments provided
££ - £12.00 per dancer
