As the tree comes down and the normality button is pressed.
I am finally getting a second to reflect.
I would like to thank you all for your support throughout this year.
There has been lots of new clients, as well as looking after the old ones that come back time after time. I am so grateful to everyone for using my services this year.
I have travelled miles doing what I love most. I have had a blast.
Already the 2026 diary is filling up very quickly so if anyone wants any bookings I would be fast to avoid disappointment.

What has AJM been up to….. it’s been a while.
Well as the saying goes “no rest for the wicked”

Winter has well and truly kicked in.

November
Pony Club conference for 2days in Edinburgh was great to meet up with lots of people and share views.

Highland Pony dinner dance again a fabulous night meeting up with old and new friends.

Waved 2 more ponies away to pastures new
Started another 3 young ones who are all coming along nicely.

Mucking out, poo picking splashing through muddy puddles.

It’s Winter so everything is ticking along as it should.
Thank you to all my super customers for making my winter run smoothly so far.

I am fully booked until the middle of January in all aspects.
Bookings for 2026 clinics etc are filling up very quickly so if you are looking for dates let me know ASAP.
I will also have a few spaces for lessons after the New Year so get in touch if you would like to book.

Today was my last clinic at Farm stables for this year.
Thank you to Rachael Stewart for organising these clinics.
What started as an online chat to practical clinic once a month since March. It has been great to see lots of horses and riders progress and improve through the journey.
Dates are already being discussed for next year.

🎤 1 year ago today I made the decision to go solo. 🥂
Driving home from HOYS last year I made the final decision that I was going to try fly solo. 🤦‍♂️Scared, nervous unsure of how it was going to go. 😁😁
Here I am 1yr on wishing I did it years ago. 😅
There has been blood, there has been sweat, and there has been tears but I have done it. 💪
Thank you so much to each and everyone who has played a part in helping, supporting and believing in me.
I have met and worked with some amazing people in the last year. They have all been so supportive and positive. 👌
Well let’s roll up the sleeves and bring on the next year and hopefully many more to come.

September been and gone.
The A9 seems to have been my best friend this month. 🤦‍♂️ (I would walk 500 miles)
With clinics in Orkney, Sutherland, Aberdeen and Inverness it’s been a busy month. I have taught some lovely people old and knew it’s been fun.
In between clinics it’s been busy back home looking after regular clients, pony club as well as a couple of new ones this month.
I am on a working holiday now until the 14th 😜

Hello September (Autumn)
I am fully booked for September, for all yard work and weekend clinics.
I have even had to order my 2026 diary today 🤦‍♂️

With the summer show season coming close to an end. ☀️
I have a little more time for schooling and exercising horses in preparation for 2026 season.

Summer 2025
Last week saw my last judging appointment of 2025. On home turf. What a privilege it was to be asked to judge at the Black Isle Show. This was where my showing career started all those years ago (26yr)🤦‍♂️ I am not that old.
What a great day it was catching up with old friends.

Summer 2025 certainly has been a BUSY one for me but I have loved every minute of it.
I have shared it with such good friends old and new.
I would like to thank, and congratulate all my wonderful customers for their achievements, and support throughout the summer. You have all done amazing.
Remember it is FUN 🤩

I am currently away with very little phone signal. I will get back to everyone when o return on the 4th of August. Sorry for any inconvenience

With show season half way done, it has been more like no rest for the wicked.

I have managed to squeeze in some customers whilst I have been available. It has been lovely to see lots of new ponies starting their ridden careers. 😁
It has been great to see lots of regular clients out and about with their trusty steeds, doing well and having fun 👌

I am FULLY booked for July as I will be away again at shows. I will be back in full action the first week in August.

Today was another CPD day at SNEC.
It always good to go to days like these. Everyone gets to share ideas to help each other. This way we are ensuring that that our coaching methods are updated. 👌
