Stanground Cardea Sports FC U10 Girls

Our penultimate pre season friendly took place tonight and we faced a talented local side. We challenged our girls with a match against an U11s squad (a year older) and the girls were ready and rose to the challenge.

The girls had to navigate more physicality, yet this did not phase them. It took some time for us to settle into the game and build confidence, but once we did the girls worked together, passed the ball round well and played some lovely football. This resulted in yet another solid performance and a great end result for us.

Beyond proud of the teamwork, determination and passion that these girls brought tonight and as our preseason preparation is almost over we are so excited to see what these girls will go on to achieve.

Our U10 girls squad took to the pitch for the first time in a pre- season friendly against Ramsey FC yesterday and we are beyond proud of how they performed! ⭐️

There have been some changes in both the coaching team and the squad players following last season and it has taken time to adjust to these changes, but we worked hard to find some new recruits to join our squad over the summer and this was our first opportunity to put our hard work into action and watch our new squad play together.

We were so happy with the performance and the girls played some really amazing football- and with them being such a newly formed bunch you would never have known it. They worked hard as a team and the effort they put in from the off was incredible and this secured them a comfortable win and a great result.

We are so excited to kick start our new season as U10 girls in the next few weeks- and we couldn’t be prouder of each and everyone of our girls for adjusting, listening and for choosing stanground!

We have no doubt that this bunch will go on to achieve great things both individually and as a team- and we are proud to be stanground! ⚽️💜💪🏼 Stanground Cardea Sports FC Youth

Stanground Cardea FC is partnering with Stanground Academy to bring a state-of-the-art football facility to our community.
