She thought eating less was the answer.
It wasn't.
Sarah had been surviving on 1200 calories for years.
Couldn't understand why she was hungry all the time.
Getting nowhere.
We set her calories and she nearly shat herself.
Joking of course, she hadn't had enough fibre for a regular bowel movement.
But in her own words.
"I can't believe how many calories I'm on"
She lost over 18 pounds.
Dropped a clothes size.
Was never hungry once.
Same person.
Different plan.
One that actually fit her life instead of making her miserable.
Fat loss doesn't have to feel like punishment.
If it does, the plan's wrong.
We've got spaces on the 21 Day Accelerator, if your interested drop us a message.
& for those of you who are further afield & can’t train with us in person, we’ve got some options for you too so dinna be a sh*tebag…
DM us the word INFO and we'll get you the details👊🏼

Never has Lu ever been denied a Puppuccino at Starbucks😂
Fun fact I’ve never asked for one ever.
But the staff see him in the passenger seat & just do it automatically.
I’m not sure how Lu has better brand loyalty from Starbucks than I do👀
But here we are…
Anyway have a good Thursday folks🙋🏼♂️
Every person in this video had a reason not to start
Too busy.
Thinking they’re not fit enough
Too old or so they thought
Tried it before and it didn't stick
But…
They started anyway
Not because they suddenly felt ready
Because they stopped waiting to feel ready
That's the only difference between them and anyone still sitting on the fence

We're not your normal gym
And we mean that in more ways than one
ProjectU is a coaching service, not a gym
Yes we have a gym
But it's only for clients who are in for their coaching sessions
We don't have folk who aren't part of the community wandering in to train on their own
Second thing, we keep it light-hearted
Yes we train hard
But we can laugh and have fun at the same time
Case in point, practicing our high kicks for the next Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders auditions
We might need a bit more practice Amy

From the age of 30 we naturally start to decline…
1 way or another your body is going to make a bitch out of you.
The question is how fast are you gonna let it happen?
Have a swipe at your leisure and learn a thing or 2.

This is where the majority of the magic happens
Not in the 3 hours a week in the HQ
But behind the scenes
The other 165 hours
The time when clients work on:
Managing their nutrition
Improving their sleep
Getting some daily movement in
Balancing work, family and themselves
This is the part that makes the biggest difference when it comes to progress
If that's the part you struggle with, give me a DM 😊

She used to run marathons.
She’s ran 6 of them in fact
Then Covid hit & somewhere in there she lost it all.
Stopped moving, stopped showing up for herself, stopped enjoying it.
By the time she came to us, she was under 5000 steps a day.
On her very first form, she wrote that her weight felt impossible to lose.
Not "hard"
Impossible.
That's where she started.
82kg.
Last week, she hit her Q2 goal.
70.1kg.
Just under 2 stone gone.
But the number's not really the story…
The story is 95% attendance across the entire block.
Showing up when she didn't feel like it some days.
Trusting the process when the scale wasn't moving as fast as she wanted.
Doing the unglamorous, boring, consistent stuff week after week.
She told us she just wanted to feel comfortable getting back into her own clothes again.
She does now…
From someone who'd lost her fitness, her routine, enjoyment and belief that she'd ever get back to feeling like herself.
To hitting a goal she set for herself and actually getting there.
Genuinely proud of her.
She's chosen to stay anonymous & we respect that completely.
Her results don't need a face attached to mean something.
We've got 4 spaces left on the 21 Day Accelerator, DM me the word INFO if you want the details.

Not every goal needs a deadline or a dress size
The goal doesn't always have to be a number on the scales or an event in the calendar
The goal can be deeper than that
Things like:
➡️ Ageing well and staying independent for as long as possible
➡️ Being able to keep up with the grandkids
➡️ Being able to get up and down off the floor without thinking about it at 70
➡️ Being fit enough to climb the stairs at the Trinity centre without gassing out
A lot of the time these goals aren't spoken about
They're not as "sexy" as getting photoshoot lean or completing a Hyrox
But that doesn't mean they're any less important
We have clients training with us for a whole host of reasons
Each just as important as the other❤️
Whatever yours is, it counts. DM me if you're not sure where to start😊

Remember when I said earlier in the week bad sleep messes with your hunger?
Here's the actual reason why…
Research published in the Annals of Internal Medicine found that even a short spell of sleep restriction drops your leptin and raises your ghrelin.
In case you don’t know what the f**k that means
Ghrelin's the one that makes you hungry.
Leptin's the one that tells you you're full.
F**k with your sleep and it's likley you'll get more of the first one, less of the second.
So you're more likely to be hungrier than usual.
And less satisfied once you've eaten.
Same meal, same portion, feels like it didn't touch the sides…
So it’s perhaps not a case of you being “greedy” or “lacking” willpower.
But poor sleep could be 1 of the reasons you’re feeling hungrier & craving more high calorie foods.
So if your nutrition's solid & organised but you're still raiding the biscuit tin more than you'd like, maybe look at your sleep before you criticise yourself, you may find there’s big returns in getting your sleep sorted before anything else.
If you found this useful save this for later, it’s likely you’ll forget this & need the reminder
