A very good game of football at 2DJ saw the points split. Probably a fair result with both teams having chances to win it late on.

A battling performance saw Luke O taking his second MOTM in as many games and opting this week for an easier 'pint' challenge.

At this rate he'll be sat with the PCC lads drinking fruit shoots and scranning haribo's within a fortnight.

Well done to all the lads on a great game, which sees us into a tough game on Sunday as we welcome Easington Lane, any visitors please remember to lock your cars up.

PETERLEE HELFORD 1 V 3 PETERLEE TOWN

We start our premier league season with a confident victory in the Peterlee Derby. Every single player was awesome, unlike Luke's MOTM pint attempt, but he covered every blade of grass twice and ran Helford's midfield ragged.

Briliant team perfomrance with Stu winning everything up top except any referee decisions and Hodgey organising the back line to keep the Helford attack pretty muted. Big shout to the cat Davey Taylor rolling back the years in the sticks with some outstanding stops and Jacko with a brace (should have been a hatrick, if it wasn't for his Nelly touch).

Awesome introductions from the young saviours all playing like they'd already completed the PDSL, Finn Devine changed the game when he came on, and was a big part of us getting our very first premier league points on the board.
