This focused clinic is designed to help swimmers improve technique, efficiency and power through detailed stroke breakdown and feedback.

✔️ 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝟮 - 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗹
✔️ Breaking down each stroke back to basics
✔️ Building strong, efficient technique
✔️ Understanding how to generate more power in the water
✔️ 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 for each swimmer to take home

The clinic will be run by Erin Hope, former Kingfisher SC swimmer, with a strong focus on quality coaching, clear feedback, and practical improvements swimmers can use straight away.

Spaces are limited and expected to fill quickly, booking is essential.

Join us at the York Vikings Sprints gala in May. Entries are now open and are filling up fast. This three grades meet "one for the whole squad", is a fun, friendly, fast-paced meet designed to give all swimmers from a club the chance to race together, whether it's their first meet or they're aiming for county/regional qualifying times.

● A, B & C Graded Short Course Sprints Meet
● 50m all strokes plus 100m Individual Medley
● Age groups from 9 to 15+ years. Age as at 31st May 2025
● Top 6 medals for all ages 9-12 in each of A, B and C grades
● Top 3 in each grade for ages 13 and over

So our swimming tip for this week is: there are many ways to be an amazing swimmer. Choose your own and celebrate it. 💙

This is what SaDSA is all about, Erica's first ever gala. Well done all swimmers from Bridlington SC, Ryedale SC, Kingfishers and our new guys York City Baths.

So fingers crossed we should be training on Fridays nights during the summer when the pool re opens. For the slightly squeamish, you’ll be pleased to know the roads have been re-homed and won’t be joining you for your training session!
