Ten Weeks To Argentine Tango Course | Tango Elegante A ten week course, on Saturday afternoons in Pinner, starts 9th Oct and ends 11th Dec. Each class is one hour.

So with the mad panic over fuel in sway, I have pushed the start date of my 'Ten Week to Tango' course back to 9th Oct. We still have time to squeeze it in before Christmas with a week to spare.
I'm hoping that the 200 army drivers who are starting deliveries of fuel on Mon 4th will make enough of an impact to calm people's fears over not being able to travel.

We're finally back! Maybe a little later than some tango venues and teachers, but having had Covid myself (thoroughly unpleasant) and having lost a member of my family early on in the first lock-down, I have been doing a lot of thinking about whether to return at all. I do not believe we have seen the back of this Covid pandemic. I believe that the UK Government will try avoid national lock-downs now, because with the vaccination roll-out nearly complete they have lost one of their main reasons for national lock-downs. However I think it is likely that if some variant gets out of hand, local lock-downs may be used.

That said, I am resuming classes in a cautious limited way for now. Give me a moment and I'll post a new 'Ten Week to Tango' course... :-)

Following current Government advice for continued social distancing, classes are unlikely to resume until pretty much all other industries are back at work. Our venue in Pinner is still closed and we are keeping tabs on the best advice available to decide when to reopen.

The Spring season will become a distant memory, and I await to see when the Summer season can start (if at all)

In the meantime there are plenty of online classes and videos to get your tango fix, and you can at least listen to more tango music and study the structure with a view to imagining how you would interpret it on the dance floor.

Romantic Vals – Argentine Tango Vals Workshop | Tango Elegante A 1.5 hour workshop introducing Argentine Tango Vals. It is for Argentine Tango dancers who do not yet feel confident with dancing the Vals (waltz) style.

Thanks to everyone who attended 'The Flavour of Tango Workshop' on Saturday pm. A lovely bunch of people, new to tango, but enjoying the class.

Just a reminder that this weeks Open Class in Pinner this afternoon is back to 4:30pm start.

We are starting the 2nd block of Open Classes (all levels) in Pinner this afternoon. Please note the time change to 4:30pm start, 6pm finish this week and throughout September.

Next week (31st Aug) for 1 week only (due to venue clash) we will be starting 3pm to 4:0pm finish.
