What a game tonight from both sets of players. An absolute joy to watch! 🎥🍿

A few weeks ago when the boys played our opposition, we knew that we didn’t play the MAP Blues way and were very flat! Tonight was the complete opposite! 😁

Plenty of chances and a missed penalty and on another day the result could have gone in our favour but the hunger, desire and teamwork was everything we could have asked for against a top class opposition! 🫡 MAP Juniors U10 Seniors 26/27

A great run out tonight against our club and league peers. Was nice to get back into 7v7 games after so many weekends of tournaments.

Tonight, the boys began to turn their attention back to 7 a side football and came up against a superb, relentless opposition who put us to the sword! ⚔️ MAP Juniors U9 Seniors 25/26

In hot conditions, our boys were nowhere near their best and hopefully take this as a massive learning curve and understand that football at this age still requires listening and learning! Next to no positives could be taken from tonight! 👨‍🏫

Plenty to work on, plenty to focus on and plenty of improvements to be made at training this week! Hopefully a wake up call for the team! 🤛🫩

Man of the Match - one thing you need when a game isn’t going your way is to roll up your socks and keep fighting. This boy certainly did that when it started to get tough! 🏆👏

What a scorcher ☀️ 🏆

Another fantastic turnout at the PRO20 Sports Academy tournament, this time hosted at Liskeard FC! ☀️⚽

The boys gave absolutely everything once again in challenging temperatures, and their determination, resilience, and teamwork shone throughout the day.
After losing two players early due to illness, the squad pulled together brilliantly. Their ambition matched their effort as they found space well, created opportunities, maintained a high intensity, and applied constant pressure to keep the momentum firmly in our favour.

Facing some teams we'd never played before could have been daunting, but the boys stayed composed and rose to every challenge. Their confidence and quality were on full display, with an incredible 10 different players (including the keeper) finding the scoresheet across the tournament.

The knockout stages brought an exciting 'El Mappico' semi-final against Map Kings Reds U8s, who deserve huge credit for the fantastic day they were having while playing up an age group. It was a great contest that eventually saw us secure our place in the final.

The final itself was a tense affair, ending 0-0 after a hard-fought battle. That meant penalties would decide the winner 😬. What followed was an unforgettable shootout that went all the way to sudden death and lasted an astonishing 11 rounds — 11 penalties each! Surely that's got to be some kind of record!

Every single player deserves recognition for their work rate, attitude, and commitment today but a special congratulations goes to our POTM, Jake ⚽️, who has really embraced the coaching, training, and feedback over the last few weeks. His development and performance today were outstanding and thoroughly deserved.

A proud day for everyone involved. Well done, boys! 👏💙⚽

After a last minute defeat in yesterday's final the boys smashed it out of the park today. Our first outing at a Pro20 tournament and what a day it's been! Making the final at tournaments 2 days in a row is a testament to these boys tenacity and determination.

Only 1 goal conceded all day and some worldy goals scored whilst putting in full graft every game in this heat, it was so hard but they done it. Another day of perfect cohesion between all the lads on the pitch.

Today's players of the day go to Hugo, Thomo & Finley. Well done lads. Outstanding performances all around!!

⭐️ Hugo was unreal today, two big performances in the Semi and the Final to keep us in the game and only conceding one goal over 6 games!!!!! Class saves mate!

⭐️ Thomo, what can I say, our bulldog/Jack Russell up top, how you run that much in this weather is beyond me. At one point he had a shot then ran the full length of the pitch and put in a last ditch tackle at the other end🤣 Starting to really come into your game and those back post goals are becoming a trait of yours 👊🏼

⭐️ Fin, again Finley battled and ran until he had nothing left, scored two mad goals with one being a lefty and literally kept the games alive for us.

Well done to ALL the lads today, absolutely grafted all day and looked like we would never let anyone beat us! Great day all round
