Fearless and strong when defending, Ralph is just as dangerous going forward — driving down the wings, cutting inside, striking the ball well and picking out good passes to create chances for his teammates.

He has a great instinct for finding dangerous spaces in attack, reacting quickly to loose balls and turning opportunities into goals. 🎯🎉

A great team player who will always work hard, support his teammates and give everything for the badge. 💙

Grayson is signed on for next season! A lightning-fast, agile player with brilliant technical ability and a real eye for goal.

Dangerous from distance and just as clinical in close, Grayson works hard for the team in both attack and defence. He also shows great awareness on the ball, knowing when to move it on to create space and open up opportunities.

An exciting footballer with serious speed and a fantastic strike! 🔥💙

Caleb is signed on for next season! A tenacious all-round footballer who battles hard to win back possession and shows real bravery when defending and a hunger for goals when in attack.

Caleb is also a fantastic passer of the ball, with the ability to pick out long-range passes and create chances for his teammates — and when there’s a free kick to be taken, he’s always a threat! 🎯🔥

A player who gives everything for the team and makes an impact all over the pitch! 💙

⚽️ MATCH REPORT 🔵⚪️

A fantastic morning of football for the boys today as we were delighted to be invited by MAP Juniors U7s to take part in two games against Callington Colts.

Across both matches there was some brilliant football on show, with plenty of goals, assists and attacking play from the boys. ⚽️🔥

What impressed us most as coaches, though, was the way the team played together.

The boys moved the ball really well, played some excellent passes into dangerous areas and made intelligent runs to create space for one another. There were some superb assists, some really unselfish play around the box and lots of examples of the boys looking to create opportunities for their teammates rather than simply trying to do everything themselves. 👏

Defensively, the work rate was equally impressive. Players were tracking back, covering for one another and competing brilliantly to regain possession before quickly looking to attack again.

That balance between attacking with confidence and working hard for each other defensively was fantastic to see. 💙

🫡 Our Captain led the team brilliantly today, putting in a really strong all-round performance. He defended superbly, drove the team forward in attack and capped off his morning with a fantastic hat-trick. 🎩⚽️

⭐️ Our Player of the Match was outstanding across both games. He contributed brilliantly going forward, but what really stood out was his work rate. Whether attacking, defending, pressing or supporting his teammates, he seemed to be everywhere today and produced a tremendous all-round performance.

A special mention to a boy who enjoyed a fantastic morning in front of goal and later showed brilliant sportsmanship by stepping across to support Callington when they needed an additional player. He gave exactly the same effort for them and represented himself and MAP brilliantly. 👏

As a coaching team, goals are always exciting, but performances like today are even more pleasing because we can see the boys developing their understanding of team football — passing, movement, communication, supporting each other and creating chances together.

A huge well done to all of the boys. Another really positive step forward and some outstanding football played. 🔵⚪️⚽️

We were sorry to see one of our players have to come off feeling unwell and hope he is feeling much better soon. 💙

And we definitely missed a little bit of flair out there today from a player who is currently enjoying his holiday! ☀️🏖️
