Next up for the lads.
A trip to Wakefield to face Ryhill Fc.
On paper should be a good game for both.
Chequers look to build on last weeks result and hoping to get much needed points on the table.
Up the Chequeres! 🏁🤍

None other than Lee Ripley. Battled well and left it all on the field!

All points shared.
The Chequeres thought they was down and out, 2 early goals from The British Oak who thought they was in for an easy morning.
A much better week for the lads against a much better side compared to our preseason game.
With a great finish from Liam, chequers found there spark and equalled to 2-2 with thanks to a great run by Lucas, who beat the offside trap
British Oak took the lead at 3-2. Which looked to be it for the lads. Until our own super-sub Brad, placed a tidy shot into the back of the net
The lads pushed for the winner but it just wasn’t to be.
Goals from:
Aston ⚽️
Lucas ⚽️
Brad ⚽️
Thank you to the British Oak for hosting and the hospitality after the game!
