We have had a busy preseason off the pitch since our last outing in April against Whiteheads, which saw us play our last ever games of tag!

During the off season in June, we had our presentation, where gratitude was shown to players, coaches, volunteers and parents, and a great evening was had by all 👍🏼

We said Goodbye to 2 players with Carter and Donnie leaving us for new challenges going forward and we wish them all the best for the future 🔴⚫️⚪️

Sunday saw us complete our Under 8’s Season, where we played away to Whiteheads 🏉

4 really competitive games in the beautiful sunshine later, and that is us done with tags and belts 🔥

Onto Early Contact next season, where the players are chomping at the bit to start tackling, which will fuel their Rugby progression even further 🔴⚫️⚪️

Last MOTM of the season went to Callum for showing great leadership, organisation and ability on the day 🔥

A great day was had by all at Caerphilly’s 2026 Festival 🔥

The weather was on our side where the players displayed some glorious rugby, to go with the glorious sunshine, against good opposition 🏉

Looking forward to Sunday, as our penultimate fixture of the season sees us travel to Caerphilly for their 2026 Festival 🔴⚫️⚪️🟢⚪️

Sunday also gave us an opportunity to pay tribute to a supporter of the team, David Beer 🫶🏼

David’s family have made a generous contribution to the team, following his unfortunate passing in 2025 🖤

David had a great passion for rugby and enjoyed following the team, where relatives continue to play a big part in playing and volunteering for us 🔴⚫️⚪️

The contribution has been used to purchase off-field jackets for the players and coaching staff, where one jacket has been designed as a tribute for a Family keepsake in his memory 🖤

A few well contested games last time out against Penallta which saw George, Thomas, Joel and Teddy pick up MOTM for strong performances in what was our last home game of the season🔥
