With thanks to the Ynysybwl Co-op Community Fund for their funding, Daerwynno are once again running their outdoor pre-school sessions.
These are held in Butcher's Park at 10-12.30. They're free to attend and there isn't need to book in.

Thanks to the Cooperative Community Fund for supporting these sessions. The sessions were previously a big hit and we look forward to running them again

A great day with People's First on Monday. Thanks to those for travelling all the way from Blaenau Gwent and Merthyr. The volunteers have been busy today prepping for their Friday's bushcraft session. โ›บ
A lady was walking in the forest today and lost her bus/ rail pass (it was in a small blue pocket folder). If you come across it, please could you let us know. We have her number to contact her and can reunite her with the pass. Thanks!

A great day yesterday with the year 1's from Coleg y Cymoedd public service course. Great weather for an introduction to navigation and team building challenges.

Back up there today, with another great day of weather, this time with the Year 2's for route planning, navigation and an introduction to expeditions.

Back again tomorrow for the second half of the year 1's continuing with the introduction to navigation and more team building.

Great days and lovely groups to work with. Lovely to see the young ladies and gents getting stuck in to the day.


Lovely to see Penrhiwceiber Y1,2,3 class in the forest today for their well-being lessons. A great day working with them on different activities to develop the children's well-being including dream catchers. Thanks for your support!

This week is Love Parks Week so we wanted to give a shout out to all of wonderful National Parks! ๐Ÿฅฐ

Across GB there are 15 in total, each one has been designated as a protected landscape because of their stunning natural beauty, beautiful wildlife and fascinating cultural heritage. Each National Park is unique and remarkable in its own way, do you have a favourite?


We're half way through our week with Beddau Scouts. They've been great in the climbing, ropes course, team building, kayaking and navigation.


Thanks to everyone who came to see us yesterday at the Royal Welsh, we loved working with you and chatting to you all. Thanks also to for inviting us again, we love joining your team. Finally, thanks to our committed Daerwynno volunteers who work so hard!


Who's going to the Royal Welsh tomorrow? Look for Llais y Goedwig's tent, find us, say hi and join in with our activities!


It's day one of the Royal Welsh. Anyone going up on Thursday? Daerwynno have been invited to join Llais y Goedwig for another year. Look for their tent and we'll be there working with anyone and everyone! Staff are so excited to go and thank Llais y Goedwig for this fab opportunity again.


Thanks to the volunteers for their hard work mowing the lawn and tidying up the wildlife areas. It's looking fab up there! Well done staff!
