𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀: 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬 𝗔𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 🔴

We are pleased to introduce our coaching team for our youngest academy group, led by Gary Donaldson, Ryan Shilliday, and Jake Richardson.

At Portadown Academy, our main priority for the 2020s is to make sure their first steps in football are packed with fun, energy, and plenty of smiles.

Gary, Ryan, and Jake all come from strong footballing backgrounds with brilliant playing experience, meaning they know exactly how to blend quality coaching with a brilliant, positive environment.

Their sessions are all about falling in love with the ball, learning the basics through games, and enjoying every single minute on the pitch.

𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗨𝟭𝟮 𝗡𝗟 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗱 🔴

A fantastic fortnight of development for our 2015 National League squad, who have shown brilliant performance levels across their opening fixtures against Glenavon and Loughgall.

The team showed great versatility over both games - putting in a disciplined, clean-sheet performance in a tight game against Glenavon, followed by a fantastic display of attacking football where the boys found the back of the net four times against Loughgall.

The biggest highlight, however, has been our club pathway in action. With a few players unavailable, some of our 2016 squad stepped up seamlessly into the U12 group.

Seeing our younger players transition up an age group and perform with such confidence is a testament to the hard work being done across the academy.

Well done our 2018 GDC Team who kicked off their season yesterday.

Really good performance from the lads, with some very confident football played. A fantastic attitude and effort from every player. Plenty to build on for the season ahead!

🔴 BIG WEEKEND IN MANCHESTER FOR PORTADOWN ACADEMY! 🔴

A massive congratulations to our Academy players who traveled over to England this weekend to compete in the prestigious 3v3 UK National Finals inside the Manchester Convention Centre! ✈️⚽

Both groups earned their spots back in May at the Coagh Utd qualifier, organized by 3v3 Northern Ireland and absolutely smashed it on the national stage:

👉 Our 2019 Academy Squad put on a brilliant display against the UK’s elite small-sided teams, showing unbelievable skill, non-stop energy, and fantastic teamwork! 🌟

👉 Two of our 2018 Academy Players teamed up with friends from other clubs to take on the 2018 age group.

They had a sensational run, storming through their group entirely unbeaten to top the table, before narrowly missing out in a thrilling Cup Quarter-Final! 🏆👏
