We now have a proposed plan of our new Hoole MUGA and 3G football pitch!

Our community sports survey over the summer showed that the most popular sports were 5 a-side football, football training, tennis and netball and we feel that this plan delivers just that!

Car parking will be improved and the MUGA will share toilet and changing facilities in a new bowling pavilion with MUGA storage too.

We have just applied for planning permission and we will keep you informed of any updates 🤞

In the meantime, if there is anybody who would like to help us start and promote a sport, particularly netball, we would love to hear from you.

Despite our future MUGA revamp we still have 3 tennis courts that can be used for FREE.
Something for the kids to do over the summer holidays or play with family and friends?!

No booking needed but we ask that players take care on and around the courts, play is at your own risk and please be considerate to other players.

Thank you to eveyone who took our MUGA Survey, we had 191 respondents, which is great!

Football has done exceedingly well with 5 a-side football being the overall winner. It is the most popular sport surveyed and with football training is the most preferred sport in both combined, male and U18 groups! ⚽️

Netball is most favoured with females, closely followed by tennis.

Tennis has been strong in all groups for all questions! 🎾

Going forward, these are the sports that will be included on the MUGA!!!!

Cricket was the most popular alternative sport mentioned and with basketball, that has shown moderate interest could be considered also. Ideas given for sports training, that do not need fixed lines are welcome too.

The photos show the survey data in bar chart and word cloud form and a slightly more detailed results board is in the Village Hall foyer for you to view.
