Using this complex as a warm up for my second press session of the week. Last 6 weeks of GPP and itβs back on the heavy weights π

Underrated gym injuries - dropping a BB on your thumb and having to detach and re stitch the nail back on. Last 3 pictures are gnarly so be warned.
Thumb may have abandoned me but Iβm pushing in all areas I can. Didnβt quite realise how much your nail is involved with all aspects of grip.
Around 260kg is my limit for Deadlifts for the next few months, blood pressure making my hand feel like itβs going to explode so positioning focus on the big lifts and pushing a diet phase hard.
Looking forward to see what I can do with 1 hand ππ.
2 singles at 140kg to finish off this strict log peak.
10kg PB for multiple reps. Canβt complain.

2 sets of 2 with my old 1 rep max
Building that big base π
Strict press going up π. 3x3 with 120kg RPE π₯
Feeling some bad knee tendentious coming off back to back heavy training blocks. Limiting leg drive and the ability to flex my knee at all some days.
So whilst other sessions are mainly consisting of rehab and not so interesting accessory movements, this strict press side quest will keep my head in the game until I can sling some proper tin again with a working knee.
New Training block. Work gets done whether I feel like it or not πͺ΅πΏ

No time for a comp prep for this one as I only entered last week. No excuses though, it was time to lock in.
Hands down the best comp iv ever competed at. Police es**rt off the plane and non stop VIP treatment making us feel like true pro athletes. and the thank you π
Doing these events in the sand and heat hits different.
Event 1 Overhead medley got annihilated.
Event 2 Zercher carry. First time on this and messed the turn up. Cost me a few points.
Event 3 Yoke. Slight drop before the finish cost me this event win. Half a second behind.
Event 4 Deadlift. Hype was but ex*****on was not, forgot to strap my belt up π. 9 reps beltless is a PB with 270kg but my core was massively fatigued after this.
Event 5 Tyre flip into sandbag to shoulder. Had plenty of time to get the last few reps of sandbag out but went in too hyped and majorly fatigued myself. Core wrote off after deadlifts and sand making things unstable.
