Dance scholar Clare Parfitt will offer insights into her work for IRIE! dance theatre, the leading African & Caribbean dance theatre company. Oh what a night! My new piece ‘Underfoot’ was more experimental than I usually make, and I loved it, god the bug! The dancers from Lancaster and beyond were fantastic and got totally stuck in, I can’t thank them enough! If you didn’t get to see our show. The exhibition including a film of the performance will be here Thursday 4-8, Friday 4-8 and Saturday 4-8 in Saint Johns Church.

We are performing our brand new project ‘Underfoot’ on Saturday at 7:30, Saint Johns Church, in Lancaster. We’re retelling stories from the mill race area of Lancaster through clog dancing and you are all welcome to attend. The project is part of project
There will be a ceramics exhibition from stories from a soundscape installation by sound artist Jo Kennedy and a live performance by us. You’re welcome to arrive from 7pm to explore the other work.
After the performance we’ll be heading to for their 40th birthday! See you on Saturday

We’re back in the land of clogs! Only this time with field recordings for our project with
We’re working with Jo kennedy to create a soundscape of stories told by clogs.
Today is recording day, and there will also be a live performance on Saturday 11th November at Saint Johns Church at 7:30.
