Our TGM Electrical Man of the Match vs Market House this week went to who after a lengthy spell on the sidelines announced his return to the league with 5 goals and two assists which included a spectacular free kick 🚀

A quick turnaround against Market House in the return league fixture this week who were quickly put away with goals from the second minute. A total performance.

Join our league for the 26/27 Season

Todays TGM Electrical man of the match went to .tomlinson2 a goal, assist and solid performance.

After one of the wettest Februarys on record the Standard returned today after an enforced month off in whats been a very stop start season so far.

Standard started well against a very defensive market house side that needed to be broken down. On 22nd minutes Zima crossed into the box where the ball fell to off the keeper to put us 1-0 ahead. Taylor was unlucky not to double his tally soon after, another good move ending with his shot coming off the bar.

Half time came and went along with a ton of chances before Standard would finally go 2-0 up in the 80th minute a good corner from was met expertly with the head by one of our new signings .tomlinson2

Tomlinson would then turn creator, after being well picked out by down the right a great ball was curled into .nedlaw who with a well timed run left himself with just the keeper to beat for 3-0 in the 85th minute and his first goal for the club.

Our TGM Electrical Man of the Match vs The Rock went to a display thats been cooking for a while and achieved out of position 🐐

Another 14 goals for the Standard this week as we finish January with 6 points and 0 goals conceded. Great pitch for a tackles this morning 💥

February will see us face off against Spa for the second time this season next week before back to back games with Market House and then finishing the month against Rock in the 1sr Round of the League Cup/Plate.

Royal Standard return this week vs Market House at Redlands. Our second bye week follows before we finish January against Rock and Poundbury Rovers. February begins with our second round fixtures against Spa and Market House before we begin the third round of fixtures a first for the Sunday League this season.

Sundays man of the match vs Gloucester went to Sean Zima, leading at the back and getting us playing, a great effort.
