Glenburn MWFC - 2018s

Monday night Partner Club Team Training — learning how to work together to set traps and regain the ball! 🤝

🧠 Recognise when to press
↪️ Force opponents towards our trap
🛡️ Support and cover teammates
⚡ Win the ball and get ready to attack!

Helping young players understand 𝗵𝗼𝘄, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 to press — and why working together gives us a better chance of winning possession back.

👏 Well done, Glenburn Miners 2018!

⭐️ PLAYER SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

Here’s our Keir playing his first game with Kilmarnock today! 🔵⚪️

Keir was recently invited in for some additional training, and it’s absolutely deserved. Technically brilliant, with a fantastic appetite to learn and improve - he’s a real joy to coach.

Well done, Keir! 👏⚽️ Keep up the hard work! 💪

🟡🔵🟡 PLAYER UPDATE 🟡🔵🟡

Great to see three Glenburn lads representing Rangers tonight against the Caledonian 2019s! 👏⚽️

A fantastic experience for Arthur, Jarvie and Alfie, and a brilliant reward for all the hard work they put in.

It’s also a great nod to the Glenburn grassroots coaches, who give their time, effort and energy week in, week out to help develop these players. 💪

So many people play a part in a young player’s journey, and tonight is a great reminder of that.

Well done, lads! 👏🟡🔵🟡
