💙💙💙 Glenburn Blues continued their winning start to the league away to Troon FC 💙💙💙

Another fantastic performance put on by the boys! Troon took the lead 3 times in the first half however the boys didnt let their heads drop and managed to finish the first half behind by 1 goal with the score 2-3.

Second half the boys knew the game was theirs for the taking! Straight from the whistle the boys piled on the pressure and managed to get an early equaliser. A strong finish from the penalty spot put us in the lead. Troon then managed to get a goal back after a cross crept into the top corner but the boys didnt let that effect them. They rallied together and played some lovely football, some great passing and through balls for the strikers to run on to! Another 3 points for the boys after a 7-4 win.

Really good to see the boys being able to bounce back after going down a goal! Let's continue this winning run 💪💪⚽️⚽️

A mouth watering midweek match saw us head through to Maybole Astro to play Valspar.

The match started evenly with both teams playing the match at a fast pace. It was Glenburn who took the lead through a nicely finished left foot strike from Kallen Knapp.

Stephen Simpson doubled the lead with a well worked goal and just before half time, he scored again to make it 3-0 to Glenburn at half time.

Into the second half, and looking secure and organised at the back and pressing high up top, we got the vital 4th goal as Stephen Simpson completed yet another hat trick.

Valspar threw everything at us for the last 10 mins but the defence and our two goalkeepers limited them to longer range efforts and deservedly earned their clean sheet 🧤 🙌

💛💛💛 Glenburn Yellows v West Kilbride 💛💛💛

The boys put in a tremendous performance this weekend. After losing a goal against the run of play, they quickly bounced back through a superbly curled effort from Stephen Simpson.

Mason doubled our lead with a well worked goal before Stephen scored again with a contender for goal of the season; a stunning overhead kick which hit the top corner of the net! 😮 🤩

The defence looked strong and midfield were controlling the match which allowed the goals to continue to pour in, allowing us to end with a 10-1 victory.

💙💙💙Glenburn Blues played their third game of the season today at Home to Prestwick.💙💙💙

First half Glenburn played very well, controlling the play and putting the pressure on Prestwick. The boys should great determination after going down a goal, recovering very well and managing to work together, finishing the half 3-1 to Glenburn.

Second half Prestwick came out strong, put alot of pressure with continuous attacks, and managed to get a goal back, however the boys didnt let their heads drop and got a goal to keep the 2 goal cushion. Prestwick continued to attack and made it a nervy finish by getting another quick goal. Again the boys did fantastic to keep the lead and the game finished 4 - 3 to Glenburn.

Another 3 points on the board! Well done boys 💪💪

💛💛💛Dean thistle v Glenburn Yellows💛💛💛

Our first midweek match of the season seen us head to Dean Park on Tuesday night.

We started the match strongly, dominating possession but without really creating enough chances. The deadlock was broke through an excellent free kick from Stephen Simpson (sponsored by Simpson & Shaw LLP). Halftime 1-0 to Glenburn.

Dean continued to work hard off the ball but it was Glenburn with the majority of possession and creating more chances. This led to Innis Henderson making a great run up the right hand side, beating 3 players and finishing high into the roof of the net.

Despite seeming in control of the match, we gave away a soft goal to Dean within 30 seconds of the restart. Dean scored again to make it 2-2.

After great work on the right by Mason Orr (sponsored by Brady Roofing), his cross was headed in superbly by Stephen Simpson.

With only two mins to go, two further defensive lapses from long balls let Dean in twice for the match to finish 4-3 to Dean.

Extremely disappointing to leave Dean Park with no points, in a match we controlled for large periods.

MOTM went to Kallen Knapp (sponsored by BM Grab Hire) for the endless threat he caused down the left hand side.

Lots of quick learning to take place and it’s onwards n upwards to Saturdays home match against West Kilbride.

💙💙💙Glenburn Blues had their second game of the season away to Kilwinning Rangers, and what an incredible performance displayed by the boys.💙💙💙

Straight from kick off Glenburn controlled the game. Some fantastic passing, moving and effort from start to finish. Glenburn were 4 - 0 up going into the first half however Kilwinning managed to get a goal from a corner just before the end of the first half.

Second half the boys kept going, putting the pressure on Kilwinning, with a 5 goal thriller in the second half. Game finished 9-1.

Can really see the practice the boys put in over the summer at training is really paying off!

Special mention to our man of the match Manuel who didnt stop running the entire game! Put in some really crucial tackles and a fantastic performance!

💛💛💛Glenburn Yellows v Stewarton💛💛💛

An exciting fixture for our opening match of the 11aside season.

First half was very even with some good chances and good defending at both ends of the park. Half time 0-0.

Glenburn were dominant in the second half and played most of the game in stewartons half. Some excellent goalkeeping and great defending prevented us getting that vital goal and despite numerous good chances, the match finished 0-0.

Glenburn Blues started their league campaign against KFA blues yesterday! And what a performance put in by the squad today.

Glenburn controlled the game right from the kick off, some excellent passing and pressing, some great passages of possession with the first half ending 2 - 1 to Glenburn.

Second half the boys were fired up and scored 3 goals very comfortably. Glenburn didnt let KFA get into any rhythm, KFA got a goal back after 3 re takes of a free kick... but the boys recovered and got a goal back to finish the game 6-2.

Rozelle International 2026

Our yellow squad were buzzing to be part of our first Ayr International tournament at 11asides, playing against new opposition from across Scotland.

Day one was an excellent day, which saw the boys score loads of goals to top their group.

On day two, the boys just struggled to reach the same performance level, which saw us exit to Gartcairn at the semi final stage with a narrow 3-2 loss.

Congratulations to local side Valspar who went onto win the final 👏🏼 Good to see football in Ayrshire booming! ⚽

Onwards n upwards for the mighty Miners, with lots of valuable experience gained over the weekend 🙌🟡🔵
