Hi guys! I was wondering if I could get some help from my fellow MAR brothers.

I am writing a masters thesis which investigates the experiences of autistic and non-autistic adults (18-30 years) in getting NHS mental health support. I am an ex-science teacher, wishing to retrain as a clinical psychologist with a child disability focus. I volunteer with Bath Mind and manage the Walcot Warriors for which several of our players are autistic. Improving access to mental health is a passion of mine and is not greatly discussed in the general population.

To support my research, I am looking to recruit autistic and non-autistic people within the UK between the ages of 18-30 who have experienced, or are experiencing, mental ill-health.
A full background to the study and access to the questionnaire is found via the link below. If you wish to comment/ask about the study, please send me an email (my email is available via the link).
https://research.sc/.../240790EF-D367-4ABC-99FC-AE4FDF8A934D

Please share with anybody you feel may be eligible for this study. All help is massively appreciated
Thanks for the invite to Reading Rans today!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all of you from the Brigands. We are so grateful for the incredible start we have had - even with a global pandemic. None of us could have predicted how much it would take off and that’s all down to the players, coaches, parents and supporters so a huge thank you to you all!

Looking ahead, we don’t know how long tier 4 will last but we are working our hardest at Brigands HQ to try and sort something out to get your weekly dose of rugby.

With a vaccine in the pipeline and hopefully a return to normal, who knows what 2021 will bring? Maybe even a friendly?!

We all hope you have had a safe and happy holiday season and new year and we hope to be back on the pitch soon!

- the Stonehouse family and Craig 🥳

THE BRIGANDS ARE LOOKING FOR BASE LAYER SPONSORS. COULD YOU HELP?

As the temperature outside gets colder, we are now looking to get base layers for our team but we need a sponsor. If you or your company could help, please contact us through our website www.berkshirebrigands.co.uk
The company will get their logo visually on the lower sleeve. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Even though training was cancelled at the very last minute, we were all ready and raring to go for a spooktacular Halloween training session. With some very cool costumes and makeup to boot!

Following Boris’ lockdown announcement, we are in the dark as to what the brigands will look like over the next month. We are currently working that out and will let everyone know as soon as we find out what’s happening...

Enjoy your Halloween all and stay safe!
