You’ve just got to stay motivated!

Ever heard this saying before?

I bet you have - it’s often thrown around by personal trainers who don’t really understand what it’s like to be time-strapped, mentally drained from the hectic family routines and under pressure at work

Offering nothing more than a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach.

There’s no customisation around you and your life in and out of work.

Services which tell you to just get on with it don’t understand what it’s truly like to be at work 5 days a week and therefore they can’t accommodate your needs for long-term weight loss results.

90 days may not seem like a lot of time…

…but lives are changed dramatically in this blink of an eye 🤩

The craziest thing is, it doesn’t require extreme methods either.

In fact, I can almost guarantee that you’ve taken MORE extreme methods than these incredible clients in one diet or another.

But these amazing humans:

❌ didn’t have to workout 7 days a week

❌ didn’t have to give up a single food of choice - or drink for that matter…

❌ didn’t have to miss a single social event

They DID however:

✅ follow a simple plan that was so ‘THEM’ that they would be able to continue it for life, for life-long RESULTS without restriction…

Building your dream physique is going to involve more than just physical exercise.

You’re going to need to walk more, drink more water, and look at what you're eating.

Sharron.

I can’t say much about Sharron but the admiration I have for her is on another level.

She came to us after an incredible journey suffering with her physical health, mental health and a whopping weight loss. Her goal was to get stronger, feel fitter and LOVE herself again.

She has spent 8 years hating what she sees in the mirror, so much so she has put a black bin bag over her bathroom mirror.

We have had 1 session per week together where she talks to me about anything and everything. I love our weekly catch up sessions, because it’s not just a workout, but it’s also a therapy session and I feel so privileged to do that for clients.

Where will you be in 90 days time without action…

I raise this question as something I’ve noticed over the years of coaching is that many people think inaction = staying the same.

Now “the same” typically isn’t what they want - or can actually even tolerate.

“The same” often means some scary outcomes - especially when this is played out long term…

But the reality is that inaction is rarely staying the same.

Inaction is typically further in the direction they don’t want to be going in…

And these small movements each week in the wrong direction create BIG changes in the wrong direction when these small movements compound from weeks in to months and in to years.

But - it’s a choice…

To take action or not take action - that is the question…

If you want to take action and create massive change without having to give up social events, eating out with your family AND your favourite foods.

Then make this the moment that everything changed.

This is Darcie.

She is 7 years old and our youngest client.

She works with us because she races go karts and needs physical fitness sessions alongside her racing ()

At the beginning of April, Darcie became very sick. She was quickly transferred to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, where they diagnosed her with Encaphalitis.

Encephalitis is an uncommon but serious condition in which the brain becomes inflamed (swollen).

She was in an induced coma for a few days, and after she had 10 days of steroids and plasma dialysis. It was a heart-wrenching time for her family, friends, and us as we were waiting for updates.

She has had brilliant care at the hospital and is now recovering well with the hope to be home soon.

We won't know the long-term side effects of Darcies Encaphalitis until she goes back to school.

This post is to raise awareness of Encaphalitis as it can happen to anyone, at any time, regardless of age, s*x or race.

Darcie, you are a little firecracker. We love you. We support you. And we will help you with whatever you need during your recovery.

7 ways to drop a dress size before summer even arrives…

1. Walk more. Get out every day and go for a walk, get those steps in.

2. Drink more water, aim for around 2-3 liters per day

3. Do exercise that you LOVE not HATE

4. Eat a well balanced diet. Think of your plate as divided into quarters, ¼ protein, ½ fruit/veg, ¼ carbs

5. Make sure that you get good sleep, sounds STUPID but it’s really important

6. Eat PLENTY of protein (match your bodyweight in grams as a minimum) e.g. 70kg = 70g of protein

7. Don’t worry about how “FAST” Jen at work is losing weight, it might not be body fat and could just be water weight.. (remember, everyones journey is different!)

10 quick coffee lessons this Tuesday morning as I look back on 2 years of coaching women and men to lose weight and get stronger in the gym…

👊 It’s NEVER too late to start. I hear it so often when speaking to men and women, they’re so afraid it’s too late to start or get BACK to eating healthily and training. But the reality is, it’s never too late.

👊 Exercise really does make people happy. I have seen mega improvements in peoples health, physically of course, but MENTALLY too.

👊 Be consistent. That’s all.

👊It’s not going to be EASY to start something new. But I’ve seen people work hard and get results. It might be HARD at first, but the more you do it, the easier it’ll become

👊Don’t fall off the bandwagon. I’ve watched SO many previous clients finish their programmes and not continue with all the hard work and effort they put in.

👊Training is for LIFE. It’s really that simple. Don’t think that it’s “just a 6 week programme” - it’s for LIFE.

👊It takes a LONG time to heal relationships with your body and food. I’ve watched clients come in with awful relationships with food, and it takes TIME to change mindsets.

👊It’s YOUR health. It’s up to you to make a change, no one else can do that for you.

👊Seeing smiles at the end of sessions, or messages coming in saying how much they ENJOYED their training session that day makes us SMILE. It’s such an awesome job we have.

Having a sick kid is HARD 😣

Especially when they're little.

Saturday has been totally written off, and we've spent most of the day napping or watching baby club (iykyk).

Most of our clients are parents themselves, and we understand that when their kids are sick, there's no chance of getting a session done, or if there is, it's likely to be a walk.

If it's not one thing, it's another when you've got kids.

But today, we are reminded to be so grateful for our NHS.

Yeah, yeah… we all know we need to walk more, drink a certain amount of water, track calories and exercise…

But how do you actually make that happen - with ease, so you can maintain it over time and get amazing results?!

Here’s 5 great ways to make it happen:

👊 Get outside for 10 minutes every day, even if thats walking to the shop and back. Make sure you plan it into your diary.

👊 Grab yourself a water bottle that tells you how much you have to drink by a certain time, it definitely helps me

👊 You don’t have to calorie count, but you DO have to make sure your diet is evenly balanced

👊 Find a type of exercise that you love doing, it’ll make you actually want to go and do it

👊Hire us as your online coaches, we will keep you accountable and motivated

This is Gareth, he’s been working with us now for 10 weeks.

Ever struggled for motivation - or staying consistent when trying to lose weight?

As this has only just recently become a joint page, I know you've mostly heard Wills story, but here's mine.

This is me and my Dad, I think I'm 3 here. I love this picture because of how happy I look with him right next to me.

I lost my Dad when I was 15, 11 days after my 15th birthday and 4 days before my brother turned 18.

It was a s**t time, and we miss him every day.

He was a true sportsman in his own right, boxing, rowing (for Henley, qualified for the olympics), rugby, and football. He loved playing, watching, and eventually coaching and reffing.

He coached rugby from under 7s all the way to under 15s at , and most of those boys stayed all the way through.

He always encouraged me to participate and play sport but never pushed me as I became more musically inclined and continued that way.

Fast forward 10 years, I met Will. An ultra marathon runner, keen gym goer, and all-around sportsman.

He encouraged me to go to the gym, to look after my health and my back (story for another day).

Fast forward 3 years into our relationship, and he says he wants to open a gym.

Here we are. 2 years later, our books in person at capacity and our online business growing.

All this makes me wonder how much my Dad would have loved that I eventually have ended up working in sport and not music.

And how much time he would have probably spent in the gym with us 🤣

It's funny how things come back around.
