🏋🏽‍♀️I find with clients that once a decision has been made to train, and we’ve got to about session 4, it becomes so much easier - the hardest part, starting is behind them. We are now on the road to habit formation with the client getting used to making time for her health.

💪🏽Hiring a personal trainer/exercising by yourself/ using a gym to workout and taking time out of your day isn’t selfish, it’s responsible.

😌We’re all going to age, it’s inevitable.
But how we age, that we have some control over.

🤔If we don’t make time to move our bodies like they are designed to, we run the risk of losing basic movement patterns eg squatting to pick something up or being able to get up off the floor.

🤽‍♀️We want to build muscle, to work on mobility and stamina, it’s beneficial when you’re a parent with children - to be able to play and have energy to keep up with your kids.

👩‍🌾But it’s also equally important as we age, putting in the work to have an independent life as possible - being as strong, fit, healthy in our bodies as we can be, reduces the likelihood of others having to care for us in the later decades. (Of course sometimes life brings us illness/ disease out of our control.)

✅Exercising / training is a life-long pursuit. And the best time to start, if you haven’t already, is now.

Yesterday and today😁.. we were celebrating the beautiful Nayan Mistry 50th birthday🎉🎂

👩‍❤️‍👩This is a lady I met 3 years ago as a client, who has become a dear friend.

👀She also happens to be the most popular person I’ve ever known - loved by all 😊😊 a pure soul.

I’m a feelings person so this review has left me emotional🥹and grateful 🫶😊

🗓️This lovely gentleman started working with me at the beginning of this year.

💡He had a clear weight-loss goal in mind.

🫀💪🏻Wanting to go down from 96kg to 83kg, this wasn’t just for vanity reasons it had a strong health focus.

😕We had some sticking points where we both agreed progress wasn’t happening how we wanted.

🙏🏽Back and forth honest conversations about doing the work, mindset, open lines of communication, weight loss strategy was adapted as time 🕰️ went on.

Well… we started making good progress and then making great progress!!🤩😎

He absolutely smashed his fat-loss goal! 🥅🙌🏽 and we completed our nutrition journey this month, after 8 months working together.

✅If there’s one thing I want you to learn with me, when nutrition coaching for fat loss, it’s that you really don’t need to cut out your favourite foods🧐

You don’t have to remove the desserts🍨or drinks🍹you enjoy.

🌟You can still have everything, but just not all at once, and not all the time!😁😁

(Silent reflux after Covid🦠and random allergies, both of which have steadily improved ✅so I’m really happy🙏🏼)

🏖️Perhaps you’re planning a holiday abroad and wondering what nutritional intake and movement🚶🏽‍♀️would look like…

🤔You may give this even more importance if you have body/ fat loss goals.

💚Here’s my approach…

🏋🏽‍♀️I train first thing almost every holiday morning because I ❤️exercise for human health and I have a surplus of energy on hols💪🏼

🍳🥐Then it’s breakfast with my family👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Easily my favourite meal on holiday😊

🥮I always have a dessert type item in the morning e.g. today was a banana and nut muffin🤤 (I don’t take issue with sugar consumption in moderation 🙌🏽)

3️⃣Being a 3 meal a day person, I actually switch to 2 big meals on holiday.
Lunch is usually swapped for my favourite fruit 🍌plus a ☕️

🍲Dinner then becomes a more generous portion than I’d have at home😋

🧠In my mindset, I understand nutrition will either match movement to keep the body weight stable. (My current goal that directs my eating style and volume.)

📈Nutrition can exceed daily movement resulting in weight gain.

📉Or nutrition is intentionally less than movement to reach weight loss⌛️goals.

😁Weight gain tends to be easy because food is delicious LOL! 👀

🤨Weight maintenance or loss aren’t complicated.. they both just require that little bit more discipline. Weight loss certainly being harder as you’re having to create a deficit ⚖️

💛Progress made by a nutrition coaching client who is almost at his goal weight of around 83-85kg 😌

We started working together at the beginning of this year and had a few yo-yo 🪀 months.

But since mid April, he has been giving it 💯and we have seen excellent progress being made 😊

This client has a demanding job, loves lifting heavy 🏋🏾, and now also likes cardio 🫀😁 plus uses a high protein diet as part of his fat-loss strategy.

✅I will be sharing his review once we reach his goal, and our work together concludes 😌

Hello 👋🏼 to my lovely existing followers and new 😊

If you’re coming across me for the first time, below is a bit about me…..

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦I’m Ayesha, a mum of 2 lovely teens;
a qualified Personal Trainer and a PN1 Nutrition Coach.

👩🏽‍💼I’m 41 and 🧬autoimmune

I’ve dealt with several health challenges over the years.

(Including a child-birth gone wrong aged 23 leading to massive haemorrhaging🩸😬,
the diagnosis plus treatment of a heart 🫀condition, aged 29 with a 1 week old baby 👶🏽 at home… this after years of arrhythmia and hospital 🏥 visits that didn’t pick up the issue 🥲)

I was then diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2010 😬

I turned to exercise to improve my health and quality of life.
It did way more than that!!

🏋🏻‍♀️In exercise, I found a passion, a confidence and a strength 💪🏼 I didn’t know I had.

I’ve been resistance training for over a decade now, 🗓️lifting both heavy and light weights and I also teach this to clients 💞

The next piece in my health and knowledge journey🛣️ was nutrition. 👩‍🎓I qualified with Precision Nutrition in 2023.

I saw my own knowledge, expertise and capability to help clients sky-rocket 🚀😌

I’ve been working with clients since 2020 🎉

Exercise and nutrition is definitely my calling and passion in life. My family probably get fed up of hearing me shout “I love my job!!” 🤣😍 at 6:15am every morning as I get ready for my group and in-person clients 💻🏋🏽‍♀️

🤨What I teach my nutrition coaching clients (who are looking for fat loss…)

You can have the cake 🍰 if you want it, you can eat sugar and gluten 🍞🥐, you can drink coffee ☕️, you can eat all foods, or you can be a veg/ vegan/ pescatarian etc.

👯‍♀️You can go out with friends for meals….

🍳🍜🌯You’re better off eating whole real foods over supplements or liquid meals, over whatever newest slimming shake or concoction that is being marketed.

⚖️You simply need to learn how to balance your energy intake, so creating a deficit if you want fat loss, staying at maintenance if you’re happy with current weight, or creating a caloric surplus if you’d like to put some weight on.

🙏🏼Aside from teaching you, I support and encourage you, I believe in you and make sure you believe in yourself too… not some of the time, all of the time! Xx

📈Together we discuss your weekly eating patterns and behaviours, I spot your trends, give you guidance for the weeks ahead, and we have a long-term plan in place. We work on food education together 💞

🔢There’s lots of reasons why people have weight or fat-loss goals.

💁🏻‍♀️One reason can be as simple/ vain 😁 as wanting to look a certain way/ leaner.

👩🏼‍🤝‍👩🏽If you’re an adult woman and that’s what you want for yourself, I’m here for you.

No judgment or opinion on how you should look or what you should want 🙏🏼

🏋🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️I personally literally work my ass off 😅and have worked consistently for 12 plus years for health reasons… but also because I like being what I consider “lean” for me.

💚I like how clothes fit and how I feel.

The strength 💪🏽comes from regular resistance training (non-negotiable,) the heart 🫀 health comes from the regular cardio.
The physique comes from a combination of these, other things and importantly, discipline and understanding when it comes to nutrition 🌯🥗🥙🍗🍜.

No-one should feel compelled to look a certain way, but you can definitely want what you want 🙌🏼

This wonderful woman is very knowledgeable when it comes to health.
Is extremely active, (20-30k and sometimes more daily steps 👀,) resistance trains frequently and understands nutrition well.

She is a delight to work with - diligent with tracking, always! And persistent in her goals.

❓What is a potential client capable of in terms of her health/ fitness/ physique….

🤨I don’t know for sure… but I assume she is capable of practically anything she sets her mind to.

If we set a fat loss goal, the process usually isn’t easy for most of us 💚

Some women can shed weight/ fat with little effort.
🧬Metabolism, genetics, good hunger and fullness signalling, and lots of other variables coming into play.

🏋🏽‍♀️Many of us have to intentionally work for it, be consistent… use effective strategies.

💪🏼But the fat loss process can also be enjoyable and empowering.

📝Learning the basics of fat loss, what works for your body now, learning new skill via exercise, understanding nutrition and how it supports your goals.

👀Understanding you don’t have to be extreme in approach when working towards your goals.
Nor do you need any supplements/ fat burners/ cleanses/ detoxes/ removal of food groups etc.

🧍🏼‍♀️All these learnings can help you gain a better understanding of your body and how to effectively work with it.
