JUST BECAUSE IT FASTENS DOESN'T MEAN IT FITS.

We spend so much time thinking about saddle fit. But what about the rug our horses might be wearing for hours every day?

Too tight across the shoulders. Pulling across the chest. Restricting movement. Or simply sitting in all the wrong places.

The autumn coat change is here, and the grooming kit suddenly earns its keep.

This is the time we reach for tools that make the job easier without turning a simple groom into a wrestling match. A good brush, the right approach for the horse in front of you, and care products you’ll actually use can make a noticeable difference to the routine.

Does your stirrup actually suit you?

Two riders can sit on the same horse, wear the same boots and need something quite different from their stirrups. Balance, comfort and how your leg hangs matter more than choosing whichever model someone else loves.

October changes more than the weather.

The grass changes. Turnout changes. Forage changes. Workloads and routines change too. But the feed room often stays exactly as it was, or gains another tub because something feels different.

Before adding anything, look at the horse and the whole feeding programme. What has actually changed? What is already covered? What are you trying to support?

From here to Japan. 🇯🇵

The Asian Games are underway, and this one feels particularly special for us.

From here in the UK, we’ve had the privilege of working on the Lotus Romeo team jackets for Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong, China. Now they’re out there on one of Asia’s biggest sporting stages.

Different teams. Different identities.
One signature.

Seeing something we’ve worked on here at AEC make its way onto the international stage is always a moment.
